It's always the slowpokes, may you find yourself in that situation with no one to help

So people don’t die unattended to in other countries?

You wannabe’s always just finding the slightest excuse to rubbish your country.

When Carlton Weekly was shot in Chicago, he died due to heavy wounds and slow response which family confirmed that he could have made it. CPR or whatever did not even get administered but wannabe’s won’t point that out. Their country is always the target.

You are not different from the people you are scolding. In Carlton case the issue was slow response not unavailability of the service in question. I am certain that when it comes to community health care, emergency response services, NO STATES in Nigeria is anywhere near what you have in Chicago. This is reality so trying to US the case in Chicago is like comparing orange and apple.

That guy you quoted was telling the blunt truth. Just because Carlton Weekly couldn't make it doesn't mean Nigeria shouldn't have defibrillators and the kind of swift emergency response systems you see in developed countries.

I live in the UK, and while I often see it as a shadow of its former self, one thing that stands out is how seriously they take emergency preparedness. Wherever you go, you'll find defibrillators mounted on walls, ready to be used at a moment's notice.
I have a friend who suffered a brain haemorrhage and suddenly collapsed just two weeks after arriving in the UK. He survived because of the speed and quality of the emergency response.

Doctors performed emergency brain surgery, opening his skull and removing the blood that had accumulated around parts of his brain. He was paralysed for over a month and had to relearn how to speak, walk, and carry out basic tasks. Thankfully, with the help of therapists and medical professionals, he recovered.

We were all grateful it happened in the UK and not in Nigeria. As painful as it is to say, if the same thing had happened back home he would have died

High BP .

Government should arrest any police officer that arest anybody that tries to help anyone to the hospital, wether the person later dies or alive .

This fear of police is primarily why people allow people to die.

Very smart of you to single out a very rare occurrence and use it to compare to what has become our reality in this country. This is not about rubbishing the country, but about the fact that people like you are so used to the bad system of government, have accepted your fate, and have decided to normalise it. With such a mindset, how will the country move forward?

Omo.... I was shocked when i compared the life expectancy in Nigeria vs Germany.

Nigeria - 54 years. Germany - 81 years.

Population - N : 200 m , G : 83 million.

Last I checked, number of people with HIV - N : 3 million. G - 150,000 ( this is from raw memory)

In short.... Africans have a long way to go. Bad diet, hard lifestyle....

RIP to this woman.
Its the hard lifestyle killing people more than the diet.

Nigeria is the worst place to live in emergency situations, no ambulance, no CPR , no defibrillator. This is reminding you that your chances of survival can be negatively impacted by the stupidity of the people around you

I thought so too. I was angry seeing that the woman was still breathing and no one could help. Then I asked myself, if I was there, could I have helped the woman? If she die on the way, what will be my defense? Nigerian system does not encourage citizens assisting during emergency. Just pray make e no be ur turn or make your family member dey close wen e happen

Nahh not really

It's likely sudden cardiac death from cardiac arrest
Maybe she's hypertensive and she either didn't know or she don't take her medication

Bottom line is ppl don't just die

There's always something that kills them

Heart failure is usually something chronic
Sudden or acute events happens unexpected
Even if it is cardiac death, the heart has failed long ago. The heart is no longer functioning at optimal level. It has deteriorated severely. Yes the condition is chronic but this is what happens when it is left untreated or it is poorly managed. I get your point. A lot of Nigerians hardly check their blood pressure cos they feel they are healthy forgetting that HBP usually doesn't present symptoms.

What of those who are still alive because of quick medical response. Medical response is practically non existent in Nigeria.

Vote wisely
If only Peter obina Gregory was the president of Nigeria I know nothing like this we ever happen and there will be medical bus 🚐 for cpr
If only she stayed in Anambra, to enjoy the fantastic Dubai Peter Griringory built in her eastern homeland.

I can see ambulances and world class hospitals Pitobi built all over the state.

What a ........k

Somebody collapsed and due to lack of no emergency outreach from her country, she passed on..
Someone was shot somewhere ....like bullets entered his body , he even had slow response medically, and you are comparing the life chances of these two personshuh? Just to prove a point huh

Do you know that the emergency money demanded by hospitals to start any medical process in Nigeria is handled by Government of other countrieshuh

Tinibu has taken away every means of Government helping the masses through subsidizing means , so all Citizens have to cater for themselves but once Tinibu has headache, France will receive his phone calls ...

Let's tell ourselves the truth even if it is Infront of whoever may care....

Same way when fuel was #87 u didn't praise the leaders then until now that it's 1350

Same way when education was #29k for university u didn't praise them until now that it's 200k don't worry ..

Fuel will still turn 10k per liter and school will become 2m per semester.
So by then u will understand what Ur leaders are doing Kwa
