If you are not a Stockholm syndrome afflicted patient, kindly share where an Israeli PM promised to secure the country before he fought for and grabbed power but he not only failed to deliver on the basic governance outcome, insecurity became worse under his watch.

Meanwhile, take note of the spelling of ISRAEL.

All the police will be categorized according to their region.
There will be oodua police, Ipob police, Arewa police and Niger Delta police.
For the south;
Gani Adams, OPC leader will be in charge of Oodua Police in all states in Yorubaland.
Mazi Nnamdi kanu, the supreme leader of Ipob will be the one directing the affairs of Ipob police in all states south east Nigeria.
Asari Dokubo will be the one presiding over Niger Delta police in south south states

Your Messiah has not even 1/2% of courage Tinubu has. In fact he has no democratic legacy he can point to. Tinubu is far far higher in democratic engagement than Peter obi. grin

The first step in achieving Biafra is independence.

Tinubu has just approved one of MNK's request. Creation of state police.

Very soon, others will be approved as well.

One down, many more to go.

The only fear is still having federal oversight. It may not be what we are really anticipating but we hope for the best out of this.
In every nation federal government oversight whatever police or other security outfits they might have.

This what they called department homeland security in USA.

Starmer didn't have a kind of Tinubu intelligent level to provide solutions for his people reason he resigned. Resignation means he has no ideas of the way forward any more. meanwhile Tinubu is seriously building Nigeria for prosperity. Naturally, Only a person that can build wealth for himself and people around him can build a nation's prosperity.

This is the best thing he has done so far....

I think it will be speedily passed by the senate and signed by the president into law....

Again, he should facilitate the ease of the state to acquire weapons for the police ...coz i know this will be another challenge...

But state police will be ineffective if local government autonomy is not implemented....

the lack of government presence in the local areas is the primary facilitator of the insecurity problems we face in this country...

let the local government be functional, secure and watch as their economies develop.......this will atleast discourage the youths from moving out in drove from these local environment.......
This is a constitutional amendment, so it also needs to be approved by 2/3 of the state houses of assembly. (24) I don't see that as a problem as most of the governors are in BAT's pocket

Wetin you dey talk man sad

Even after States are allowed to create their own police force, it does not mean all the Federal Police will withdraw from the state
Then that means you don't want a state police. Or even restructuring.

Laughs in state police

If not for the Nigerian Police Force and the Military, Boko Haram will be Operating in every part of Nigeria.
And you think that the state police would be well funded by states who can't even build world class hospitals, schools and roads.

Even Lagos that took 2 decades to build two out of seven rail lines will suddenly have money to do state police.

Better prepare your farm for the herdsmen.

Laughs in state police

Explain the reality and you will find out you are not making any sense.

Tell us the reality we want to hear it. You think ruling Nigeria is by online Tiger madness stunt?
Okay. Most states struggle to build decent schools, world class hospitals , even decent metro transport services in the state capital

And you want them to have state police?

Lagos will need something like ten times it's current budget to get a decent, world class state police.

And then taxes will be needed to fund the police

Taxes that most of you don't like paying

"Start with all of you paying decent taxes" are you excluded?
You are running away from my question

I don't mind paying sane taxes, but most of you don't want to.

You want government to feed you because we are an oil rich country. Like Saudia.

Laughs in Arabic and state police.

This is a good one, with state police some of these governors who are lazy and always give excuses of not in charge of police but are collecting humongous amount of money as security votes and are called CSO of their states will have no more excuse.
Security vote for Lagos: 147 billion naira

Cost of state police: 813 billion naira( optimists)

Cost of world class state police for Lagos per annum : 30 trillion naira.

Laughs in security vote and state police

PS. Our VP's security vote for 2013 when he was a governor was enough to buy 48 Hilux for the state. It won't have funded a state police

Let every state protect itself and let's know where the problem is coming from. Working model in any state can be adopted in purge state.

Well done Tinubu'!

HOW is anywhere the homeland of the first settlers but not the homeland of subsequent settlers?

How is anywhere outside Ile-Ife the homeland of a Yoruba person, for example huh

How is anywhere outside the Garden of Eden, the homeland of Christians for example?

The history of humankind is the history of migration!
We are Africans we don't go by foreign religious myths and fantasies.

If you don't know your ancestral land that means you are an illegal immigrant and Nigerian immigration should step up patrols, most people from Chad, Niger republic, Mauritania are now claiming Nigeria.
