All the police will be categorized according to their region.
There will be oodua police, Ipob police, Arewa police and Niger Delta police.
For the south;
Gani Adams, OPC leader will be in charge of Oodua Police in all states in Yorubaland.
Mazi Nnamdi kanu, the supreme leader of Ipob will be the one directing the affairs of Ipob police in all states south east Nigeria.
Asari Dokubo will be the one presiding over Niger Delta police in south south states

In every nation federal government oversight whatever police or other security outfits they might have.

Starmer didn't have a kind of Tinubu intelligent level to provide solutions for his people reason he resigned. Resignation means he has no ideas of the way forward any more. meanwhile Tinubu is seriously building Nigeria for prosperity. Naturally, Only a person that can build wealth for himself and people around him can build a nation's prosperity.

But state police will be ineffective if local government autonomy is not implemented....

the lack of government presence in the local areas is the primary facilitator of the insecurity problems we face in this country...

let the local government be functional, secure and watch as their economies develop.......this will atleast discourage the youths from moving out in drove from these local environment.......

This is a constitutional amendment, so it also needs to be approved by 2/3 of the state houses of assembly. (24) I don't see that as a problem as most of the governors are in BAT's pocket

And you want them to have state police?

Lagos will need something like ten times it's current budget to get a decent, world class state police.

And then taxes will be needed to fund the police
