Why Some Pastors Avoid Preaching About Hellfire by johnstin(op): 5:18pm On Jun 23
Anchor scripture: "And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth."
Matthew 13:50

Blessed be the name of the Lord.

When our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ was on earth, he never failed to exhort people on the reality of eternal damnation in hellfire, admonishing and teaching people on how to avoid ending up in the place of unimaginable torment, where no one gets out, once locked up there.

But surprisingly, we have some 'modern' pastors who deliberately shun all topics that relate to hellfire.
Why is this so?

These are some of the possible reasons.

1. They do not have salvation
Yes, we have Pastors, Deacons and other men/women with religious titles in the Christian faith, who have not been saved from their sins.

In 1 Corinthians 1:18, the Bible says that the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved, it is the power of God.

Therefore, the Pastors who are yet to be saved, see the reality of hellfire, which is an integral part of the preaching of the cross, as foolishness.

They can't seem to come to terms with the fact that someone can be sentenced to a place of eternal torment – hellfire, forever, just because of some sins.

Some of them may even doubt the existence of hellfire to start with, and some may be wallowing in the deception of the once-saved-forever-saved doctrine.

Since the unsaved pastors are not convinced of hellfire, they avoid preaching about it altogether.

2. They are candidates of hell themselves
Everyone who commits sin, is a candidate of hellfire, until he/she genuinely repents.

Since we have some pastors who are actively committing sin, such pastors will be reluctant to preach on the topic of hellfire.

Such pastors know that each time they preach on the subject of hellfire, they are condemning themselves.

3. The congregation is carnal
Pastors know the type of congregation they have.

A Pastor with a large percentage of carnal members – who are wealthy, will not want to preach hard topics, such as hellfire, so as not to offend and lose his affluent church members, who are the ones funding the church, and pumping financial resources to him.

Since the Pastor knows some of these rich members are engaged in questionable sources of livelihood, he/she will avoid messages that center on sin, holiness and righteousness, that will hit the church members hard, and make them utterly uncomfortable, and prompt them to entertain the thought of leaving the church.

4. Love of the world
Some Pastors love the world so much, and have forgotten that they are on transit on earth to the Heavenly city.

They are so comfortable, enjoying the vanities of the world, so much so, that they have altogether forgotten that there is a place called hellfire.

This is exactly what the devil likes; he wants people to forget there is hellfire, and fail to adequately prepare to avoid it, so that they will end up there.

Infact, all of then have resorted not to mention the fake gospel of hell fire very often in their messages because the gospel is not adding up and they are yet to literally understand what Jesus meant by helll fire in his parable.

That means, they have been confused all these years

At least He Said it and Warned people to be aware of it. So, if you like keep trying to stop yourself from being afraid of it. The fear will only grow worse whenever death is close to you

When did God create hell

HELL IS GRAVE

GNASHING OF TEETH IS LAUGHING AT THE PEOPLE BEING DESTROYED.

READ JOB 16:9

SINNERS WILL CRY WHILE OTHERS GNASH THEIR TEETH AT THEM

In the Hebrew language, gnashing teeth is a sign of aggressive anger, fury, or a brutal attack.

Nothing in job 16:9 says gnashing is laughing at people rather job 16 talks about Job being in severe pains

Hell doesn't exist and even God proved it doesn't.

Jeremiah 19:5
They have built the high places of Baal to burn their children in the fire as offerings to Baal—something I did not command or mention, nor did it enter my mind.

Deuteronomy 18:10
“Let no one be found among you who sacrifices their son or daughter in the fire…”

Deuteronomy 12:31
The nations “burn even their sons and daughters in the fire” to their gods — something God says He hates.

This is God himself speaking against people who burn humans for whatever and God explicitly said it has never entered his mind and he hates it.

He'll fire 🔥 rubbish.....! There are places in the Bible where God also condemned burning of people. God said it has never come to his heart to think about such a thing talkless of doing it.
There is nothing like hell fire 🔥 your pastors have to to realize it, that is why they don't preach it.

If they keep preaching about hell fire 🔥
They will lose their members
