I Reiterated France's Commitment To Lebanon - President Macron

I met with Lebanese President Joseph Aoun, Prime Minister Nawaf Salam, and Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies Nabih Berri.

To each of them, I reiterated France's commitment to Lebanon's sovereignty and territorial integrity. The establishment of a robust ceasefire, which must be respected by all, should enable the launch of a simultaneous process of Israeli withdrawal from Lebanese territory and redeployment of the Lebanese armed forces, in order to ensure that the State exercises its monopoly on the use of force.

France is ready to concretely support this process and to mobilize the international community in the coming weeks, alongside the Lebanese government, to bolster the Lebanese armed forces and address the needs of displaced populations

How long was France not only training troops in Burkina Faso etc.... but had lots of their military on ground "fighting terrorists". It got worse.
