Lagos State Police Command @LagosPoliceNG

Operatives of the Lagos State Police Command, acting on credible intelligence, intercepted an unregistered MAN diesel truck at the exit point of Lagos State conveying forty-seven (47) sacks of military camouflage uniforms and eighty (80) cartons of drugs suspected to be illicit substances. Four suspects has been arrested and in Police custody

Preliminary investigation revealed that the military camouflage uniforms were allegedly being transported to the Eastern part of the country. Investigation is ongoing to determine the source, ownership, and intended recipients of the recovered items, as well as the extent of the suspects’ involvement. Efforts are also ongoing to apprehend other persons connected with the criminal act.

This is exactly why high-profile investigations in this country lead to dead ends. Why rush to the media when your own statement admits you haven't identified the source, the owners, or the final recipients?

By parading these four suspects and announcing the seizure, the police have effectively tipped off the masterminds. Every major player connected to this shipment is destroying evidence and going underground right now. You have to ask yourself: is this just a classic case of prioritizing media PR over actual police work, or is it a calculated move to compromise the investigation before the trail leads to influential figures?

Lots of things don go very wrong with this country from grassroot. We the masses are one of the biggest problem to ourselves. Na where we wan start to repair this country like this?... even if Angel come sey e go rule this country, where he wan start from?

If you read slowly you would have understood the post. Intercepted in Lagos, not intercepted coming to Lagos. They probably imported through Lagos or purchased in Lagos and taking to the SE. So put away your elementary propaganda.

I believe Nigeria still lack security intelligence, because in a sane country that really want to curb out any future security treat or attack will systematically follow the truck to the point of delivering to apprehend the mastermind of it, or better still don't post it and strike a deal with those arrested to take them to their oga at the top.
