What do you expect? Unseating any sitting governor will be very difficult. In fact, the opposition needs to re-strategize its campaign. All the governors will be jubilating now so they can position themselves well ahead of the next election with this new development.

2. Are the governors mandated to appoint their indigenes as Commissioners or otherwise?

3. Are police officers going to be redeployed to their respective states of origin effective immediately?

4. What if the preferred candidate of the governor is not up to the rank of being a Commissioner, is the governor empowered to forcefully retire a senior officer who is not is choice just to clear the way for his own candidate?

5. Are the governors only empowered to appoint? Or they can both appoint and dismiss?

6. Is the salary scale of police officers going to be the same across states or the governors will decide on what to pay?

The stings of insecurity and economic hardship is felt badly by the majority of Nigerians as at today;this is in sharp contrast to the gains of those achievements which are not felt by the majority of the masses except a privilege few.
So it's better BAT got it right with security and economic prosperity than those propaganda achievements you enumerated up there.

The next important reform is resource control by individual states,follow by regional commercial banks,decentralisation of NNPCL to regional oil companies and CBN to go regional with regional governors.
