The infamous O.J. Simpson case, remember? Mark Fuhrman's mishandling of evidence and the team's general incompetence killed the case, not just the glove-doesn't-fit theatrics of Johnnie Cochran. They'd his blood and DNA on the scene but mishandling of this crucial evidence sank the prosecution. For the record, I believe OJ did it.

Still, I wish more state governors would think proactively about tracing crime using irrefutable evidence. It's a major qnd laudable step in our otherwise bumbling criminal justice system

But Enugu State and Nigeria as a country don't have DNA records/database of her citizens for them to cross match with what is gotten from crime scenes.... This is just another structural edifice with little or no benefits to the fight against criminality

There is no country with overall DNA database for its citizens. You collect DNA evidence from the crime scene which you can compare with the collected DNA sample of your suspects and use them to validate or invalidate the crime.

Yeah it was insane. The blacks were not happy he ended up with a white woman, the whites were equally unhappy. It was just 2 years after the LA Riots when race tensions were already quite high after the acquittal of the Rodney King cops.
