Comic Nollywood actor, Fred Ebere accuses the late actor Mr Ibu’s widow of lying about her family’s financial struggles, specifically claiming she knows the whereabouts of his properties, investments, and lands.

This comes after Mr Ibu’s widow, Stella Marris, and children recently appealed publicly for help with unpaid rent, school fees, electricity, and water, stating the kids have dropped out of school following the actor’s 2024 death after a long illness.

As a man eh, just try not to die too young before your time. And above all, make sure you have a hardworking wife that will not soil your name afterwards. A wife that has something doing and can carry on the family if you go before her.

If her story is true, and she's truly struggling, I hope she gets help.

Secondly, make sure you plan your finances! Setup trust for your kids! Once money starts coming, don't be laying houses upandan like fowl, build commercial buildings - stores - and will them to your kids for steady income.

I understand Mr. Ibu's sickness may have really depleted their wealth. But there are better ways than coming online to embarrass a man's legacy.

When things like this happen, you support the family from the funds. You can even invest the funds to yield returns. There are too many cases where actors suffer and die in poverty. Wake up and have a conversation about this. Small money from actors can support their families for years.

Actors too should open trust funds for their families. Actually plan for death. Instead of buying too many properties that lead to fighting or drinking and eating all sorts, put some money in investments that can make returns. Some people do not spend lavishly while alive. They invest in forex and stocks whose returns help to train and feed their children long after they were gone.

I was surprised she mentioned rent. Except Mr Ibu lied, I remember he did housewarming years ago. If that house is in the SE, she should relocate. Put the kids in more affordable schools. It is not easy, but she has to try.

Men should be careful who they make mothers of their kids. This woman here is someone Mr. Ibu bought 3 cars for in one day. Never make a liability who is not productive in anyway a wife. Inspite of everything Mr. Ibu did for this woman, she was a thorn in his flesh to the point that he opened up on his Punch Newspaper interview of February 11 2023 to say she is the worst wife he ever had.

All she would do was go around rolling with friends of questionable character who influenced her negatively against her husband. Every investment made on her behalf crashed because she couldn't manage it. A liability to the core.

When sickness was dealing with her husband, she only bothered to go see him in the hospital when she needed money. After Mr Ibu sent money to her, she abandoned him and left again and that was the last time he saw her. An exceedingly terrible misfortune for a wife.
