No doubt Sowore is brave and resolute but he is not pragmatically wise nor a critical thinker in my opinion.

Some people love trouble. Only age slows them. Fela would’ve been docile today and adjusted to the Nigerian system if alive. At 88, there would’ve been little he could do physically to change the status quo. Age go touch Sowore, if he lives long enough.

Sowore is not really after political office. If that was the case, he would join the mainstream. People like Sowore are called radicals! They're not interested in how to make things right, they just want things right.

There are no two ways to practice activism in Nigeria; you're either all in or not in. Perhaps you're confusing political opposition with activism. Maybe you need to take a crash course on Political Science so as to know the difference.

E pele o, Buoda Terrain! The likes of Fela Kuti, Gani Fawehimi, Beeko Ransome Kuti, etc. that practiced unadulterated activism, I hope you know this is how they did it.

And the likes of WOLE SOYINKA, SHEHU SANNI, FESTUS KEYAMO, FEMI FALANA that backslided along the way. I hope you've seen the ignominy that has become of them?

Sowore ran for president under the African Action Congress (AAC), yet he did not win his ward, results matter, and so far Sowore’s activism hasn’t translated to electoral credibility or concrete policy plans.
Still, he wants to become president of Nigeria.
Up till now, Sowore has not told Nigerians what he would do differently to change the country’s situation.
He calls himself a politician, yet he cannot clearly explain how he will tackle insecurity, the economy, health, education, and other key issues.
Instead of building alliances with other opposition parties or aligning with other credible politicians across the six geopolitical zones, he spends time insulting Peter Obi, Tinubu, and Atiku on national TV and at press conferences.

That is why I say he is only good as an activist.
He does not seem serious about his political career.
I strongly believe he is working for Tinubu.

Activists don't usually make good leaders, prison C.V doesn't translate to successful governance. As a matter of fact, they are useful tools for upsetting governments without them usually knowing. Nothing beats vision.

Must we all be activists? It is Sowore who chose that path. I am an employer of labour with three successful businesses in Nigeria.

I would argue I am more important than Sowore, by employing and sustaining the lives of several Nigerians, who goes around acting like a thug.

The issue is that we are now in a visual social media culture where those who seek attention through pretend activism, like Sowore and VDM etal, whereas the likes of myself are far more socio-economically valuable because we employ and pay Nigerians to support Their personal and family livelihood.

Yes I believe I am more important than empty and attention-seeking noisemakers like Sowore.

I am not surprised. Sowore, to me, is no different to a terrorist or an extremist. I say this because Albert Einstein said "insanity is doing things things the same way, every time, to expect a different outcome".

Men mature, grow wiser and learn how systems of Nations work in order to be effective within that particular system.

How has Sowore moved forward in 30 years or so? He is still the same person who believes resistance, protests and defiance is the way forward whereas a wise man who understands Nigeria, and her complexities and idiosyncrasies, will accept anyone who wants to improve our nation must do what is needed to get in the position to deliver the change they want.

That is what Tinubu has done while Sowore continues to act like a juvenile delinquent.

While your summation is valid. For sowore this is a course cowering or Meandering in the face of power defeats the purpose this is history in the making Nigeria does not have any revolutionary or liberationist like the likes of Nelson Mandela, Thomas sankara, Kwame Nkrumah (Ghana) and Julius Nyerere. A story about Nigerian libration in the future can never be complete without mentioning Sowore, his movement, his ideology he is only playing his role in life in the scheme of things as a radical activist and a champion for revolution so also is Tinubu playing is part as a shrewd politician

Exactly my thoughts he needs to be resolute.
This is a course in other to embrace true activism you have to be able to accept death as a consequence once you at that stage you can even look death in the eye and speak your mind and bullshit him talk less of speaking to power.
Tinubu is a Criminal HE SAID IT. and no matter the litigation and what the court says he spoke the truth.
He his a criminal.
In spite he is a great politician which I admire.

I don't think his immediate objective is to win any leadership position. I think he's only trying to stay relevant in the political space by contesting for the office of the president.

You can not change a system that is faulty by "adapting" to it.
