Fear.. Its real ooo... They fear Peter obi like madt ooo.. Anyway, when you increase Salary the market woman will increase, the taxes will increase and you are back to phase1. So implement good governance and make your money have value. In the world it's only in Nigeria that has multiple colour's for same currencies. Such a shame under APC... Tufiakwa |

DON'T REVIEW MINIMUM WAGE OF N70000 BUT USE THE MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY TO FORCE DOWN 1, PETROL PRICE TO N750 PER LITRE 2, DOLLAR TO NAIRA AT $1 TO N750 AND 3, CEMENT PRICE AT N750 PER BAG. YOU WILL BE GLAD YOU DID. |

Ofunaofu:Sir, please use the supposed salary increase to subsidizing the cost of petroleum products, by then the cost of living will drop drastically. Because if you increase the minimum wage, other wares and the market woman will increase her wares too. By then the aim and purpose will have been defeated. Thank you. |

The dingbat is grasping at straws. After carrying our the most deceptive wage increase in the history of this nation, the dingbat thinks government workers can trust him? One problem with the dingbat is that he cannot stop being cunning in his ways. Everything about him has an ulterior motive. Always manipulative and deceptive. |

esnbrutality:I beg stop wasting your time mentioning Peter Obi in a serious matter like this. Peter to I that will not likely win any two local government election outside south east in 2027 is whom you are wasting your time over? We are no longer in 2023, don't waste your time. Talk something better in other areas relating to Obi, but when it comes to 2027 election, stop wasting your time; is not yet his time |

How many people will benefit from it Even zone Bees are still on 30k The 70k ended up audio. Most FG workers simply hit a flat rate increment of 40k on their salary instead of consequential adjustment Tinubu is a scam |

HenryStarlife:Whenever some people open their mouths to say that 200k or even 300k is not realistic, I always sense people who are still very gullible and are already affected by stark poverty. Because I don't understand how the senators will be earning in millions and even some people lay hold on billions many times in a month and then you think ordinary citizens are not entitled to 300k monthly, which is still not going to be sufficient in the cities where things are very costly. ![]() |

Yes o. The master strategist who can’t pay N35,000 salary award for three years is what his renewed hopelessness followers expect to increase minimum wage? Maybe he will announce it a few days before the election to fool those who think like Bwala. Maybe it will work for them. |

Before data boys start flooding this thread with accolades of their paymaster, let's do some math In 2023 in the first quarter, the naira dollar exchange was #450. Minimum wage was #30.000 Dollar value was $67 Current minimum wage is #70,000 Dollar value @#1370 is $51 This shows that the value of current minimum wage is less than that of 2023. If the presidency is going to realistically make any upward review of minimum wage, the value of the minimum wage in dollars should be between $95 - $120 which in naira is 130,000 - 160,000. Anything less is a scam just like the 'increased' faac allocation to states. Upward minimum wage review should be based on value not volume. |
