How Can I Survive? I'm Stranded In Lagos Now! by Enoeasy001(op): 6:45pm On Jun 26

I made an earlier post here on that I needed a state to go since Abuja was getting expensive. I later agreed to take the bull by the horn and I enter night bus to Lagos. Lagos isn't like I anticipated. Am confused and stranded now. Please am not asking for money here but please can anyone tell me how to survive here at Lagos or can anyone link me to a job here. I'm a graduate but at this junction, I am even willing to work as a gate man. I am currently sleeping at a park now, please I need someone to get me a job here or give me how to survive here. Abeg, Mod, move this to front page.

When they try to give some of you meaningful and useful advice it always ends in insults.

This kind of trial and error approach to life with no planning or intentionlity rarely works. Only an insignificant amount of people, say less than 1% makes it in life this way. The op might be lucky to be amongst that less than 1% in the end and everything works out well for him... good for him.

I wonder why you would tackle, shame and make nonsense of a man/woman advising someone about the importance of planning and try to shut the person up.

The op has made his decision... probably the same kind of impulsive and irrational decisions that ended him up in Abuja and still chasing away away to lagos as he hasn't learned anything from his past mistakes and you are shutting up a person who has given a sound advice.

They say the sun hasn't shinned on those standing ( that plan and make good decisions in life) is it those sitting ( that haven't planned) that it would shine on?

I think the shame should be on you instead because you think you are helping the op by encouraging him but rather you are doing him a disfavour.

I hope everything turns out well for the op but stop shutting down people especially when they give good advice.

Stop encouraging people to not plan their lives or they can wake up at anytime to make decisions.

That's a wayward life to live!
