God knows how many times I have applied for nigeria army after graduation, no success. Even at 25 tillllllllllll thirty something. God knows how much I would have loved to join nigeria army, but then, it looked as if we were begging them.
They were busy recruiting those that can pay the money. Had it been we had a good government, police and armed forces should have been the highest employer of labour in this country. What of customs? Without that Green Card or a U.S. citizenship, you can't get into the military, even if your spouse is a U.S. citizen.

Possessing a green card means you can legally live and work in the United States. Without that card or a U.S. citizenship, you can't work legally in the United States. And by extension, you can't get into the Army because the Army is considered "work" too.

Being married to a U.S. citizen can help you quickly get your green card, but it can't help you get into the military without a green card of your own.
