I spend about 50k monthly for MTN 4g router data that is not even unlimited. I am looking to get either MTN Fiber X or AIRTEL ODU by next month, but I see negative reviews for both of them. I stay in Majek, Sangotedo. Does anyone know which one would be best for me?

I don't know about down time . But trust me , over 9 devices including laptops two heavy duty smart tv and over 7 active phones . Steady working no issues . Airtel Na baba

why spend 50k monthly and still not get value when you can do that with Starlink and have peace of mind? Either Starlink Mini or Standard, choose whichever fits your pocket.

Airtel has deployed their Fibre in different places, I saw them setting up their Fibre in my area, very soon I shall give them a test run 🤔

I have no issue with MTN honestly it’s the best if you have the pole installation at your front house by all means go for Mtn. I chose airtel for two reason 1st Mtn hasn’t gotten to my side and also the mobility of the device once I have it I can install it anywhere i also have no reason to complain it’s fast and movies dont buffer even when the whole house hold is connected with a few neighbors so it’s a good bargain.

Been using starlink, just got MTN FiberX for a second location. So far it's been a champ. Probably upgrading to 100mbps next subscription (N45k). And with a suitable powerbank you can use it even when there's no electricity.

Lagos keh? Pretty saturated i believe. You might have to pay higher than necessary to get it to work in lagos except there's a way around it now.

You can procure it yourself online, it's better that way should you need support from CustomerService. Using the referral https://starlink.com/residential?referral=RC-DF-12111607-38515-87 grants both parties 1month of Free subscription irrespective of the dish type you purchase using the link.

Airtel ODU has very bad reviews.

I hear say MTN don get their own ODU and the reviews are encouraging. Check it out or the FiberX

HI, I just bought a new MTN FlyX and noticed that the powerbank lasts for about 5 hours and can only be charged while it's switched on. Which other reliable powerbank can I use as it's power cord isn't compatible with the regular power banks

You can make your own cord, if you've the barrel-type plug. Just get a USB-Type A cable, cut off the unwanted ends of the barrel connector and USB cables, splice them together. The barrel connector is center-positive. Then plug the USB end into your power bank and the barrel connector into the router. That's how I did mine.
