This guy tried scamming me this night about paying to join a travel WhatsApp group till I traced his phone number to Truecaller and saw comments. He blocked me and deleted the account number he sent.
Who is the person? You need to give more info about the person

Apologies for the misconceptions. akinglobal32@gmail.com jumped on the conversation and is scamming people

Now this is a very new one, lol. My first scamming accusation in the time I've been on Nairaland. It certainly must be because this individual has way more than anyone else on Nairaland such that buda has to scam him. And for all the things on earth, to travel. And for the pittance of joining a whatsapp group!

Thankfully, this individual has evidence which I am certain he will provide for Nairalanders to see for themselves.

My engagement with him began on this thread,

And I'm very certain that anyone who looks at my profile would know my email address. As for my phone number, well, please share ugreat.

20k, apparently. Like £10, I think that is. My first scam in my time on Nairaland. And for all the things possible, to travel, lol.

Ugreat, please post screenshots of buda scamming you. Its your duty to protect others from buda!

budaatum:
Oh! I just seen you posted details already! And I must agree that this buda must definitely be a bad and incompetent scammer to provide a bank account with name and phone number for 20k, lol.

It's a good thing you are a detective, is what I think, but can you kindly refrain from addressing buda as "he" please. buda's pronouns are "they" "them" and such like.

Thank you very much in advance.

By the way, ugreat, I do not know your email address. And nor do I use the Nairaland messaging process, as Cekpo34, who is trying to use it to contact me will confirm. My contact details are on my profile.
My unreserved apologies. The fellow jumped on the conversation. Screen grabbed the conversation and posed as you.

Oh! Really! A misconception made you go about attempting to tarnish my reputation?

Well, I guess this is you repenting. Please go and sin no more.

I forgive you.

You've at least pointed out that some do what this individual did, and that's a good thing.
