Why small batteries , that must be substandard imo.

I pity landlords...some houses go burn

With more Nigerians switching to solar power, it is VITAL that all batteries are kept in a separate building from the main residence so that if there is any leakage of toxic gas, or fire eruption, the main residential building will not be affected.

IF possible the solar panels themselves should also be installed away from the main building, atop a car port or purpose-built structure that is not in the immediate vicinity of the main residential building. There have been a few horror stories of solar panels spontaneously combusting and thereby burning down the main residence.

What type of battery?

The solar battery was tampered with before it was sold to the owner. I've seen this before. A guy bought a solar battery and same thing happened. After due investigation we discovered it's a second hand batter( already worked on).
Thank God were very fast to take it out side....stay safe

If you must buy a battery for your solar panel installation make sure you go for original and genuine products even though they are more expensive

Black man technology... Black man is not matured to handle sensitive technology because, hunger and hardship plays a big role. Lithium is fuel, if you don't do it well, fire extinguisher does not quench it.

They're really lucky o. Imagine it was still indoors...or it was a larger capacity like 10kw/hr etc...The whole house would be ashes by now.
