You are very correct in some of the things you said but let me correct you in some areas.


Northern political elites did supported Tinubu to become President based on how he rallied Southwest to support Buhari in 2015. This is a known fact.


Now where you got it wrong is this:

Buhari despite the fact that Tinubu and others helped him to emerge President in 2015 never liked Tinubu because of his extreme corruption and for kidnapping Lagos state since 1999. Buhari hated that, yes Buhari can be called a failure in leadership but the man have some iota of being mindful of committing corruption. So Buhari and even El Rufai never liked Tinubu because of mostly how he hijacked the whole Lagos state for decades unopposed by the Yorubas, northern political elites disliked Tinubu for that extreme corruption but then, they had no other option but to pay back Tinubu for supporting Buhari, so they decided against all odds to support Tinubu to emerge President in 2023.


But then, majority of Nigerian masses never liked Tinubu because every Nigerian know that Tinubu is the symbol of corruption in Nigeria. As for northern voters, they didn't like Tinubu too because they saw him as a fake Muslim pretending to be a real Muslim so despite Buhari, El Rufai and many other northern elites endorsing Tinubu, majority of northern voters, especially the youths didn't vote for Tinubu in 2023 and the moment INEC Yakubu Mahmood saw how the votes was going massively in favor of Peter Obi, he went and shutdown the upload of polling unit election results indefinitely.



I said this because my own polling unit in Lagos where I flew in to vote was successfully uploaded on irev on the election day, we all were there and persuaded the INEC Presiding Officer to upload the result and he did and I personally logged into Irev portal later and saw the result there.



So my point is, Buhari and other Northern political elites did endorsed Tinubu as a pay back for supporting Buhari in 2015, but unfortunately majority of Northerners didn't accept to vote Tinubu, instead some voted for Atiku, some for Tinubu and some voted Peter Obi unknown to many Nigerians.


Some of Buhari's men who were in power in 2023 have spoken and people have heard.



I think this is part of why Tinubu is angry with Buhari's men and to some extent Northerners. He know how much he spent and the stress he has been to even aligning with people he never liked before like Wike, Reno Omokri, Bwala and Co just to defend the mandate he knew how he got it. If you think deeply, you will notice that Tinubu is not happy with Northerners for not voting him massively the way he rallied Yorubas to vote for Buhari in 2015. You know ritualists and armed robbers who got their wealth in very painful ways are usually angry with everybody and hardly help people seeking for help from them because they know what they went through to make the unclean wealth they flaunt.

They should be empowered. Government can sacrifice 1 billion naira monthly to elevate 1000 people monthly. They should get shops for the 1000 people and buy them the materials to start the akara business. Lately I stumbled on a video by the wife of the president saying youths should venture into akara selling and road side corn roasting and I observe reactions on social media with many insulting her and calling her all sorts of name.

What I notice about the whole charade is that people who insult her the most fall into two different categories....

*The Gen Z who believe all Nigeria problem started with Tinubu

*The political haters who hates Tinubu and his family and whatever they say even though it's pure common sense they will oppose it.

Let me give some real life examples before going to my point, anyone who have been around since 2010 upward or any graduate from 2010 upwards knows for sure that getting a job is one of the hardest thing, infact we joke about it that it's after service that you know the meaning of so help me God at the end of your service year.

My blood brother finished service in the era of yaradua and despite his good results and some connections he couldn't get a reasonable job, he thought about using one of the abandoned station wagon bus in the compound for logistics and gradually he established himself, got married and now into hospitality with 2 solid hotels. When I finished too, I was also job hunting and I dabbled into modern day slavery for 19 months (private school teaching is what I call modern day slavery) to keep me busy,after 19 months I left n started a gas outlet and pos shop, thank God today I am also into logistics and I have a mini gas station.

This and many more are what graduates use in getting way forward in life because it's obvious Nigeria have been like this for long and graduates have been abandoning certificate to get dirty and make money, it never started during Tinubu presidency so what's the fuse about? This same thing happened to my landlord children, they are both graduate but because they both couldn't get a job they now own fashion school, my wife is also a caterer and a big time food vendor, so why are many people shouting as if it is today that unemployment started?

What prompted me to create this thread was one annoying guy that we served together during JONATHAN regime, we finished and he too couldn't get a job, he learnt electrician work and today he has employed people too, imagine him now insulting the government and insulting Tinubu for telling youth to get engaged instead of waiting for government when it's obvious it's not everyone that will get a government job.

I asked him one question "u always shout Jonathan era was the best, y didn't u get a job then?
Why don't you wait for Jonathan to come and give you job?
Why did you get something doing instead of to sit down and blame the government everyday.


Like seriously what pisses me off about critics of today is that they are just hypocrites, when you hear them talk you will think all Nigeria problem started with Tinubu,no be one person be president when fela sang international thief thief?
