There are others who may also be looking for good running shoes in that price point and I am not a bad plug to ask since I have practical experience of 16 different highly rated running shoes over the last year. I have kept 12 of the ones I liked and dashed out 4, and have also tested many others in the shops for comfort level. I generally know what works for walking, running, sprinting or casual use. They did over-invoicing with reckless abandon, they were approving contracts for phony companies, etc. They all have billions traced to them with no reasonable explanation as to the source of funds. Chai!

Those guys steal without any conscience; and it's because there are no proper checks and balances in place to audit them in real time.

To start with, let our presidents stop the idea of the President being the petroleum minister; it gives room for some of these things to happen. Why? Because even if a whistle blower raises an alarm that there's massive corruption going on in NNPC that is under the supervision of the president, a compromised house of assembly won't muster courage to invite the president to come clear the air. Even when the president is eventually called upon, he will only go there to joke with the house of assembly members and he will be asked to take a bow.

Going forward let them separate the office of the president from the office of the substantial minister for petroleum. Also, let any of the big 4's (PWC, KPMG, deliotte, or EY) be appointed as auditor to audit the accounts of the NNPC on a yearly basis and the report of such audits be made public. At least put some measures that will put fear in the mind of the NNPC guys? Let them have a feeling that if they steal/divert funds/embezzle operational funds, they are at risk of being found out within a year or two.
