I work with colleagues who have big bodies, but I know what they usually tell me about how they feed. If you are fat or chubby, not eating food won't automatically slim you down to the lepa standard. If you know you know.

As I said earlier, she died of BP and BP medications these days are very unaffordable to millions of Nigerians. Two people close to me died of BP issues just last two weeks. They both don't look like people who are suffering , but they are.
Bros the science of body fat, Calorific intake and metabolism is simple, anyone who is "big bodied" as you said needs to look into this things

Our road no just long, it seems endless. Like a journey to nowhere.
Fujiyama:

Our road is damn long.

'Culture',undecided superstition and a perverse, warped religiosity have all combined to make this country one of the worst places to have a medical emergency - of any kind.

This sensible, prudent talk about CPR, EMS, first responders etc. is gibberish to Nigerians. They don't know it. They don't understand it - and they will punish you for trying to introduce it to them. Be careful. Your attempts to administer CPR will likely be interpreted as some form of 'soul snatching'huh - or trying to capture the 'glory' of the unfortunate victim - or some other nonsense like that. And the mob will make you pay.

After all, this is a country where every ten years or so, (the way normal countries have a census or other normal stuff like that) there is an 'epidemic' of 'genital theft' (people's members or breasts etc.) are 'stolen' by 'ritualists' and 'wicked people'undecided at bus stops, in markets etc. Never mind the unanswered question of how a man's member or testicles can be removed from his body (without anesthetic) in minutes - and the man shows absolutely no sign of pain or discomforthuh?

The best we can do in a medical emergency here is pour a few sachets of 'pure' water on the victim and hope for the best. That's how we roll.

That's how we do it.undecided

if everyone creating content there drops their phones and move enmasse to a hospital, how many can the police detain, there is evidence she slumped, why should anybody be detained
Lol, unlikely. All those people have different urgencies in their lives that moment.

What's realistic is that one or two persons from the crowd may have enough empathy to go out of their way. But then nigerian factor may discourage them.

Even if it is cardiac death, the heart has failed long ago. The heart is no longer functioning at optimal level. It has deteriorated severely. Yes the condition is chronic but this is what happens when it is left untreated or it is poorly managed. I get your point. A lot of Nigerians hardly check their blood pressure cos they feel they are healthy forgetting that HBP usually doesn't present symptoms.
And some people are stubborn even when told they need help they'll brush it off

Exactly! Some people even seeing that their blood pressure is high, they'll say God forbid that the machine is not measuring properly. They'll become religious instead of them to do the right thing.

Ah bro, now I see where you are coming from. See, things have changed. What they are talking about is current stats, and too, percentage index....

So not like even now we still don't have people who live above 100, but those dying below 60 is on the high....

Exactly they'll even go to church and testify that doctor side they have HBP and they said God forbid that its not their portion

Wen they have stroke they'll say its spiritual attack
