GloriousGbola:The same opposition that called out the so called Turnaround Maintenance over and over again? It seems u are living in fantasy land https://punchng.com/fg-under-fire-as-nnpc-confirms-refineries-not-working/?amp https://leadership.ng/nnpcls-1-5bn-refinery-failure-validates-my-call-for-privatisation-atiku/ https://www.thecable.ng/its-a-huge-waste-peter-obi-faults-1-5bn-for-port-harcourt-refinery-repair/ The key opposition figures criticized the whole Turnaround maintenance, it was APC members and supporters that were defending it for years. They didn't stop defending it even when Buhari left,..... At least bayo Onanuga who is the current presidential spokesperson defended the whole refinery turnaround maintennace farce https://thenationonlineng.net/port-harcourt-refinery-is-revitalized-ready-for-growth-onanuga/ |

Bimmarlykay:Yes its the same. The country or the world is not just for you the educated elites. It's for everyone the economic concerns of you the Lawyer Engineer is not more important than that of a bricklayer trader of uneducated podcaster |

Even the Buharists seem to at some point refuse to defend certain abnormalities.. There's no red line at all for these Ronus, none...

CrystalTiger:😂😂😂😂 The whole àkàrà conversation has been a comic relief Sha. Suddenly every APC person dey claim say their mama na àkàrà seller and that's what they used to sponsor their education. Everybody suddenly knows an àkàrà seller that earns more than bankers in a month 😂. They know àkàrà sellers that built mansions from àkàrà business. They are everywhere on the internet (Facebook, twitter and even nairaland) writing lovely prose about the newly found gold mine ; "Àkàrà frying business". As I dey see their posts, I just dey laugh. |

BlueRayDick:Google Reagan iran backroom deal. During the Iran hostage crisis Reagan was roasting Jimmy Carter in public on being weak and running a back room deal with the Iranians in private. The hostages were released immediately reagan was sworn in. The term is rat fking and refers to all the dirty games that are played in an election year. You should know that it is how the game is played and everyone will take any advantage they can to make their opponent look bad or corrupt or incompetent. Funny that you are assuming the performative posturing of politicians who have all used NNPC in the past as a slush fund means anything. Was it not under pdp that they also did multiple TAM and got away with it? Was it not under diezani that they were dashing Chris Aire oil well rights? |

GloriousGbola:I don't think it makes sense to defend any Nigerian government over NNPC. The corruption of that entity in which all Nigerian Governments have been complicit including the current and last one is legendary. Any commentator who values his sanity should just keep a mile away from anything to do with that cesspit of infinite greed and evil called NNPC, the place where the bulk of Nigerian exploitative corruption happens. |

CrystalTiger:The funniest part about this whole śhiť show is that there was context to what she was saying instead of defending with said context, the fooooools are now talking about how they hawked beans, hawked banana etc ![]() |

BlueRayDick:The thing is just crazy.. Suddenly Akara sellers make money more than civil servants and many hustlers.. Funny thing, none of them have any of their family members doing the so called lucrative business KingTom: |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Emaprince: 7:08pm On Jun 28 |
BlueRayDick:Indeed, these people are paid to to act like illiterates online just to defend failures. Look at how they are doing mathematics on top akara income. ..and stylishly putting it ahead of corporale jobs. Chai...this country has people that are really cursed |

CrystalTiger:Just as most of them ran away from the bad govt to a working country, only to support from abroad |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Roland17(m): 7:43pm On Jun 28 |
BlueRayDick:On a different but familiar topic.. Can you confirm any improvement in the refuse collection situation in your area and around the places you typically visit? Or are things the same? Anyone in Lagos is free to chime in. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by iamoyindamola(m): 7:58pm On Jun 28 |
Roland17:They came on Thursday and have been seeing them clear some refuse on the roads this past week not all though. Lagos is dirty man |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by BlueRayDick: 8:22pm On Jun 28 |
Roland17:It's not different. The refuse heaps are still where they are for now. Maybe in the new week they plan to do something about it, but as of today everywhere I drove past the heap of refuse are still visible. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Theflint1(m): 8:23pm On Jun 28 |
Roland17:No improvement. They normally come like three times a month normally, but of late it has reduced to what is starting to seem like once a month. Dustbins have been full to the brim going two weeks now, na aboki dey augument these days. I hear their complaint is there are no dumpsites to dispose of the dirts after they've picked them. |

Theflint1:I suspect so too |

airmark:You're shamelessly scrambling with facts, grabbing at straws, picking at cherries just to find fault with a man with impeccable character. So it's from having shares with NEXT who has shares with the company money was invested that's the evidence you're presenting. No wonder EEFC thinks you guys are really stupid for dragging them into an inconsequential matter. Now let me ask you, is Tinubu who you support a saint? 😂 Is Tinubu a drug lord, money launderer, or not? Does Tinubu have a stake in the companies he gave contracts under the Chagourys? You're such a sore hypocrite |

Spy360:You typed thousands of inconsequential words without addressing the issue raised. I never told you Tinubu is a saint, you are the one hammering it that OBI is of impeccable character. Now when I exposed his unlawful investments now, you changed to OBI is a “smaller” criminal to BAT. Bro, I said it multiple times that Naija politicians are the same. Your movement is a deceptive and a scamming one. Don’t self ‘‘fake notes’ on this street, you will receive discordant tunes. |

Bimmarlykay:Get a university education if it fits with your future endeavors then be prepared to use it to get a job not be finding govt to give you a job after it |

Yesterday's rain was something else.... Seeing videos of flooding in different parts of Lagos 😲 Seeing places like Ikorodu road, Ilupeju, etc getting almost submerged is scary. I'm afraid it may even get worse with the waste situation in lagos as the moment because the water can push the not-porperly-disposed waste into water channels and drianages. Worse still, the flood can even spread diseases and before you know it they will taking about quarantine, isolation and other medical terminologies that should've been avoided if the right thing is done on time

If you look at this Maryland video, you will see the house's waste drum in front of the house that has been swept into the flood. As dem Tokunbo people no come carry am, shebi flood will carry am? 🤷♂️ /video/1?s=46 |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by BlueRayDick: 6:28am On Jun 29 |
Roland17:See evidence that the waste disposal situation remained the same. Just look at the waste being carried by the flood after yesterday's rainfall in Mushin.

| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Theflint1(m): 6:53am On Jun 29 |
It's possible the coastal road is responsible for the flooding happening in places that before now didn't experience any type of flooding. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by BlueRayDick: 6:59am On Jun 29 |
Theflint1:I don't think so, rather it's about some of the major canals needing dredging. At least for mainland, I believe it's the major canals and water channels filled with sand that needs dredging. I don't see how Coastal road in far away Lekki will cause flooding in Maryland on the mainland. |

BlueRayDick:Fortunately we can't relate in Ikorodu ![]() |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by BlueRayDick: 7:20am On Jun 29 |
iamoyindamola:But all those mile 12 side used to be very flooded. Then that road they have been doing for years around agric, I think they call it isawo road..... The flood in that side sef no be joke o |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by iamoyindamola(m): 7:45am On Jun 29 |
BlueRayDick:Näh, not this kind flood o I know the road you are talking about, APC government want to use 20 years to build bridge in that road Fashola started the bridge and till now it's still in progress. Any time it's close to election period they will do small and abandon rinse and repeat |

The woman we usually buy garri from is a homeowner, she fries the garri by herself and you have to book in advance otherwise you won't see to buy. Another woman frying akara is also a homeowner and two of her children are in the university and she did all that with her akara frying business. If you are in doubt you can send reccy to come and verify my claims. We may not agree with the government but let's not shy away from the truth that the grant won't uplift some people even though it may look small to many of us. |
