Admission came on: February 19th
Visa Application: March 30th
Medical: April 2nd
Biometric: April 7th

Grant: April 29th

I submitted a PhD application to the University of Sydney from the UK. The admissions team has now requested additional documents, including the completion of the GS Assessment form and evidence of financial capacity, such as bank statements or a savings certificate for either myself or my sponsor before my application can be processed.

Has anyone experienced being asked for financial documents at the application stage? I was under the impression that these are usually required only at the time of CoE issuance or visa application.

5) Age: 42 years.

Do I stand a chance for PhD?

Of course, you stand a chance. You have multiple advanced degrees, which show you're academically prepared for a PhD. Besides, there's no maximum age limit for an Australian PhD admission, so nothing is stopping you.

Please, which TAFE in Australia can easily give someone admission and eventually successful with visa application. I mean this person has BSC in English in Nigeria and 25 years old. I believe there are TAFEs that can offer the person admission and eventually get a visa as well. Any recommendation will be appreciated.

I have a degree in transportation management with a cgpa of 2.80 and i am 37years old, please what course can i apply for that will make it easy for me to get admission and easy to PR. Also i heard someone said i must have a sponsor in which i dont have but i have like 50m naira in my personal account. please how can i go about this?

Budget around N170k for medicals and N30,000 for biometric.

Medical is at Isaac John str in Ikeja (IOM)
Biometric is at Lekki phase 1
