Traditionally, Igbos don't vote Against the ruling party at the Presidential elections. 2015 was a miscalculation because they thought Goodluck was going to win.

In 1999, you betrayed Ekwueme at the PDP primaries and voted Obasanjo at the elections.

In 2003, you betrayed Ojukwu who contested under APGA and voted for Obasanjo of PDP.

In 2007, you betrayed Orji Uzor Kalu of PPA and voted Yar'Adua of PDP.

In 2011, you voted Goodluck under PDP instead of Osita okechukwu.

In 2015, you voted GEJ again, but he lost.

Opposition politics is new to the SE and you can NEVER survive it. Crying like babies and begging everybody is not opposition, go and learn it. Till then, keep on with your Nsogbu politics and we will keep fingering your destiny.

In 2023, APC won Lagos, Edo, Ebonyi, Imo, Cross Rivers, Kaduna, Katsina, Yobe, Sokoto, Kebbi, Nassarawa, etc in the gubernatorial elections but Tinubu did not win those states. Is Tinubu synonymous to APC? Where was Tinubu barely 3 years ago? Let him test his popularity at the polls and stop attempting to be on the only candidate on the ballot.

TINUBU doesn't have to win these states outrightly. he needs to just lose the states by minimal difference and covering up in other places. 2023 proved that already. you dont need to win outrightly. gather enough votes in those states and its enough

This means, since Independence, Igbos have always been slaves to the North. how can you join North to produce President since independence and you have not produce Igbo president in the alliance? meanwhile, South-West that came for alliance not too long has produce Presidents, VP, Speakers, consistently in the alliance.... now tell me who the real slaves to North are?

Tinubu lost states like Ebonyi, Imo and Cross Rivers woefully but the APC governors in those states won their re-election effortlessly. Bottomline is that, it's not necessarily the APC that is unpopular, it is Tinubu and Nigerians can tell the difference. He knows this and that's why he's running from pillar to post to ensure he's the only viable candidate on the ballot.

I wouldn't be surprised if Tinubu has sent emissaries to Kanu. Tinubu’s strategy is simple. Disenfranchise Obi from the race, release Nnamdi kanu and then drop Shettima in favour of a Northern Christian and then attempt to make 2027 a North vs South affair. He has sampled opinions online and believes the myth that the entire South will vote for him if Obi is not on the ballot but he may be miscalculating and underestimating the level of his unpopularity. Tinubu is even more unpopular across the South than he is in the North today and disenfranchising Obi will only make it worse.
