INTENSIFIED PRESSURE BY OPERATION HADIN KAI LEADS TO SURRENDER OF TOP TERRORIST LEADERS AS MORE ABANDON CAMPS AMID BOOSTED OPERATIONS

The Joint Task Force (North East), Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK), has continued to record significant operational successes in the ongoing counter terrorism campaign against Boko Haram and Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) terrorists through sustained operations backed by credible, timely and actionable intelligence.

In another major breakthrough, a fresh group of top ISWAP terrorist leaders have abandoned their enclaves and surrendered to troops within the North-East theatre of operations. Among those who surrendered are key members of the terrorist network due to relentless military pressure. They are currently in a secure location undergoing profiling, debriefing and other established procedures in accordance with extant operational protocols.

The development highlights the devastating impact of the sustained offensive by Operation HADIN KAI, which continues to dismantle terrorist strongholds, disrupt command and logistics structures, and deny the insurgents freedom of action across the theatre. Persistent military operations have continued to degrade the terrorists' combat capabilities while eroding confidence within their ranks and leadership. Within the last week alone, a total of 76 terrorist foot soldiers with some families surrendered to troops.

These operational gains demonstrate the effectiveness of the Nigerian military's comprehensive counter terrorism and counter insurgency strategy, combining precision combat operations, intelligence led engagements and coordinated joint efforts with partners.

Operation HADIN KAI remains resolute in its mission to completely defeat terrorism and restore lasting peace and security across the North-East. The pressure on the remaining terrorist elements will continue unabated until they are completely neutralised or forced to surrender.

The Woman
The Man
A woman I know
One woman when I was small

Most of these people we use as examples achieved this at a time when the economy was not this bad. (Another truth you people will never admit)

You want someone in 2026 to fry Kuli-Kuli..When last did any of you here buy it?

We all know everybody who built houses through Akara, but we would never fry Akara to build our own house....

Irony!

This thing is so sad..It's not like this is the first time..We were here last year when flooding destroyed people's properties and now we're still battling the same issue, will probably battle it again next year too..

Can't even point out just one problem that's been solved in this country

The woman we usually buy garri from is a homeowner, she fries the garri by herself and you have to book in advance otherwise you won't see to buy. Another woman frying akara is also a homeowner and two of her children are in the university and she did all that with her akara frying business.
If you are in doubt you can send reccy to come and verify my claims.
We may not agree with the government but let's not shy away from the truth that the grant won't uplift some people even though it may look small to many of us.
Some Nigerians are just in denial. People have been doing menial jobs to survive and build up their lives since God knows when.

She will still share 20 million naira cars before the year runs out to those who are worth it.

If person mama deserve the 50k, make she go collect, use am build house.

Most of them are clowns 🤡🤡🤡..... I've seen the whole akara discussion as comic relief and nothing more.

If you dig well enough, u will see that even most of them here defending this current government with every Fibre of their being once held the same hypocritical view as Dípò at a time when things were much better than today.

Nigerians are short memory span

Petrol Marketers have dropped Petrol to 982/ltr
The Master planner of Africa still hold him own for 1,12+/ltr

I am expecting him to come and cry and talk about one scandal this week.

My bet: Before Friday

Radiometer people
This is how you know people with zero sense of reality and business. If you follow their mouth, na village you go end up

An Akara woman will not fry Akara from morning till night unless she has staff or helpers. This is because she needs to go to the market and restock for the next day sales

So if you notice, Akara starts from morning till noon at most. The same way Aboki wey dey fry yam will start from Noon till night. They need to create time to reorganize for the next day

Their profit margin is also fixed. One grinded bucket of Akara is her target for the morning. If she finishes it in 3 hours, she goes home. Because it would take hours to prepare it again for frying.

But these people will do everything possible to tell you how people bought GLE with Akara, except them.

See him mouth like 500 pieces

See evidence that the waste disposal situation remained the same. Just look at the waste being carried by the flood after yesterday's rainfall in Mushin.
Theflint1:
No improvement. They normally come like three times a month normally, but of late it has reduced to what is starting to seem like once a month.

Dustbins have been full to the brim going two weeks now, na aboki dey augument these days.

I hear their complaint is there are no dumpsites to dispose of the dirts after they've picked them.
iamoyindamola:
They came on Thursday and have been seeing them clear some refuse on the roads this past week not all though.
Lagos is dirty man
Your descriptions match what I have also heard from friends and family living in Lagos, in summary not much has changed; if any. You see this is why I held that Wahab and the LSG had no leg to stand on. Wahab was more interested in give and take, holding useless press conferences. With all the noise, one would think you'd see some improvement across the city.

There is no excuse for this level of system failure. Lagos is a mega city and a critical aspect of planning a mega city is waste management. Effective waste management requires a multi-dimensional approach and in 7 years, they failed to address this issue. Why can't they build mega landfills like the Olusosun in strategic zones of the state? What is even the state of Olusosun right now?

This is definitely going to be a black spot for Sanwolu's regime and sadly, he is going to hand over this mess to Obafemi Hamzat, whom I hope has a strategic plan to address this issue before it becomes a serious public health crisis.

He's importing crude because NNPC/FG cannot gibe him the crude his refinery needs to operate at optimal level. That one na Buhari government's fault, not Dangote's ; na Buhari government pledge crude to our lenders in future contracts

Unfortunately the video does not have time or location stamp. I am wondering where in Lagos this is. As far as I can recall our epicentre for flooding is the island. This does not look like marina, vi or lekki.

It is actually looking like those videos of lokoja flooding.

It's possible the coastal road is responsible for the flooding happening in places that before now didn't experience any type of flooding.

Gbagada was flooded yesterday.

But I think it's all those flash floods where the water drains gradually as the rain stops
