Expanse2020:I should also clarify that forced in the sense which I used it is nothing like the Islamic "convert or die" culture which continues on to this day, 1400 years after Islam entered Africa.  Forced in this sense refers to mass campaigns to transition many people to Christianity by way of continual preaching and education --- no swords, knives to their throats, or guns to their heads. Many Africans, of course, continued worshipping their ancestral gods(some even revolted)ng against the Christians, which was unintended, while a good portion of people have abandoned the old way of worship and life for Western ways as intended. Your forefathers were not massacred and butchered to convert them to Christianity. They instead received the needed education that helped shift their minds from the barbaric past of human sacrifices and enslavement of their neighbors to one that was more humane in all ramifications. Islam never did that for your ancestors for over 1100 years of its presence in Africa, especially in Nigeria. Islam's "Convert or Die" ideology was a plague on the people and their children until the white man showed up. |

You do not see anything wrong in that because they are Christians or later adopted Christianity. By the way, the Muslims that took over these territories are natives to this Lands. Islam was also considered a heretical sect of Christianity by those who lived around the time of Mohammed himself, and would have been judged the same way you would have judged the sects in red, but guess what? Rather than "reform", it evolved into a monster beyond what they expected. Why? Because, unlike the others, from its beginning, Islam is a political system --- the Quran is literally a State Constitution along with its own Criminal code, Sharia --- masquerading as a religion. Its goal is state conquest and domination. Islamists literally say this every time they open their mouths to speak the reality of Islam to you, anywhere on earth you find them, including Nigeria. What more closely compares to Islam is Communism/Socialism(its religion is atheism), and not some religious denominations. 2. Islam violently conquered Indonesia as it did other Islamic nations today. Religion is heavily regulated, and blasphemy laws are imposed on everyone in the land, meaning that freedom of speech is not a thing. I am not sure why you are desperate to have us believe that Islam in Indonesia is some different flavor of sharia than what is known. 3. Because the Yoruba Muslims have never really been an organized majority of South Western Nigeria, we should all take that to mean that Islam in Nigeria is not as bad as Islam is? Are you for real? 4. You just highlighted the major issue with Islam. It is not a religion but rather a political system that imposes a religion, and that does not compare to any religion out there. Expecting it to reform is like expecting a spider to morph into a harmless wall gecko, like Mormonism, or other religious denominations out there. From what we know of other such ideologies like Islam, it is incapable of morphing. Rather, it needs to be exposed for what it is and beaten back to Medina from whence it came. 5. Muslims have no such fables. Instead, they believe that living exactly as Mohammed lived and prescribed, as a warlord, who massacred those who did not believe in his ideals and private delusions, reduced women and children to lesser standards, swore that his livelihood was by the spear, basically banditry was his way of amassing fortunes for himself, etc. That man was worse than Anini, only that he had a brainwashed set of followers. 6. Difrent:Wrong! The religion of Christianity is nothing like Islam which is instead a political system that imposes a religion on those it seeks to rule over. It never conquered any states, nor does it rule over what you refer to as the 3 aspects of life. The religion of Christianity is instead sold as a moral foundation upon which individuals are to live their lives as they see fit. That is why, thanks to the reform of behavior, you have such things as freedom of speech and freedom of religion in much of the Western world. 2. Wrong! The religion of Christianity never colonized Africa. Rather, what history records is that missionaries came to Africa to teach Christianity to the people, and this goes as far back as the 1st century AD. The religion of Judaism probably arrived on the continent before this. That is not what colonization means or implies. 3. Technically wrong as well! Two of the oldest religions in Africa were Judaism and Christianity. Christianity predates Islam on the continent by at least 500 years. 4. Wrong! Fund out the conflicts that arises out of the interaction of belief systems and cultures. Find out the make up of those who ate crusaders and those who are the defenders of that space. Every civilization and people across the globe had slaves. Up until the abolition of slavery in the 20th century, slavery was mostly legal in all parts of the world. Right there in Africa today, slave traders who captured and sold their fellow Africans to other communities, the Arabs or even the Europeans at some point, are celebrated as part of history. Your African ancestors were mostly either slave traders, those who served slave traders, or those who were slaves. So, you're telling me that the church slaves mean damned near nothing. All that said, today Islam has ushered Slavery back in with over 40 million individuals across the world currently living as slaves. The vast majority of them are in Africa and other Islamic countries like Afghanistan, Yemen, etc. 3. Islam not only blessed and approved Hitler, but carries his legacy on to this day. As a matter of fact, if you look closely at Hitler's hate for the Jews, it is not far-fetched to conceive that there must have been some parallel drawn by him from certain religions, particularly Islam.
