For those of you who don’t know Lhasa Apso may not be big in size but those dogs are the most alert dogs ever. They can hear you coming from miles away and alert everyone around.

Ever dog has their special characteristics.

I have seen a Lhasa Apso challenge dogs five times their size and they usually don’t back down from a fight…..#fact

Don't mind them,we had an intruder last week around 2am in our compound my dog was just barking loud to alert us someone foreign was in the compound

I just bathed him and perfumed him at least I didn't want him to start playing on the floor immediately

He looks great! At just over six months, he is right in the middle of transitioning from his puppy coat to his adult coat, so it’s completely normal for it not to be super full yet. For context, I’ve owned a Lhasa Apso in the past and currently own a female Shih Tzu, and their coats can take up to a year (or more) to fully mature. Whether he's 100% pure or a mix, he’s a beautiful pup!

Here's mine at 19 months. Her name is Sassy.

Yes, a Lhasa Apso and a Shih Tzu can be crossed! This hybrid is usually called a Shih Apso. But I don't cross mine though. I want to keep her line pure

Funny thing is that they think they are treating their Lhasa well by locking it up.

My heart aches seeing them in very dirty hair barking in their cages, pleading for attention.

Thats what i thought about the Eskimo breed until i met a friendly one last weekly. Funny thing prior to that i had only encountered another Eskimo which wasnt friendly and misjudged the entire.breed

Lhasa were original bred to be guard dogs for monks in Tibet. So, if it barks, it was born to do that.

Nevertheless towel dry the cutie,and let it in the house. But potty training is good from a young age. Focus on that.
