The way you children can never think past your loins will not surprise me for one bit. They’ve extended the length of time to live in the camp. The only thing you children are in arms about is how much fornication will take place. At the ages which people go into camp, they don’t require any further discipline. Who don spoil since secondary school and university days don spoil for life. Who maintain decent life during those periods go maintain decency until death. At this point, if the government mandated adult disciplinary classes in a bid to make society coordinated, you same folks will kick against the idea, stating that there is nothing someone can learn past the age of 26. In some Asian countries, you play a raffle pick that either drafts you for compulsory military service or not after your high school after that then you can choose to go to college or further your stay in the military. NYSC needs to be scrapped completely. There is really no benefits to it. Look at US, UK, Canada or other developing countries we are trying to be like. Do they have any program like this? NO! Instead of Youth Service, youths should be allowed to do internships or jobs shadowing / cooperatives before graduating which will actually allow them to develop skills / work side by side with companies in their intended fields. The current program is just an avenue for bad behavior which ultimately serves no useful purpose to families, candidates or the country. 5 Likes 1 Share |
