The military drill is why NYSC still exist up till date why does Tinubu complicates anything he touches judiciary, subsidy, parastatals everything all for politics.
NYSC that is almost a paramilitary when I served in benue we were respected like security personnel the only thing way remain na gun, bike free if we see police on the road “‘esprit de corps’”

The best reform that can happen to Nysc is: serve your state of origin or region for safety reasons.
Travelling 8 -12 hrs is not save for inexperienced youths in a strange land.

The people who programmed it to serve outside ya State of origin and School state know what they mean. Unity matters and we just have to mixed amongs other Nigerians.

Skill like how to cut fire wood 🪓, free egg roll, meat pies, cake, then boys can start up cobbler jobs in less than 3 weeks

Its a good development, and let people serve withing their zone, pls no more someone that schooled in southwest travelling all the way to Maiduguri , Sokoto or Kaduna, Nigeria of today doesn't support that
Let the whole 1 year be all about skill acquisition and development, don't post corpers to schools abegi, if I did civil, let the person be attached to construction company likewise other courses.
Let the ministry of Education even scrap all those courses that is not offering Nigerians any benefits abeggi.

When I served in 2017 in NYSC camp in Sagamu Ogun state, a pregnant married corper was caught sleeping with another corper on the second day of camp. Her husband was quickly called to come and remove his trash bag from the camp. They didn't tell him why. Na security for get tell am say dem catch him wife dey collect gbola for bush.
