While I understand that some officers chiefly the female ones can be very annoying, fighting them either physically or orally should be completely condemned. It's wrong! There should be a law against that which will see the offenders severely punished, otherwise I doubt if it'll stop.

It is a very serious offence to insult an officer of any department of security forces in any country, let alone hitting them with whatever while on uniform either on or off duty. They have just beaten the whole Police with that action and the consequences will be significant. At the station level, police will be very bitter on them and wanted to take revenge on them for beating their colleagues. Secondly, their detentions will be no mercy at all caused of their offence. Police will see their action as an insults on them and they will perceived it as an attack on them. They will show them hell in stations before they will hand them over to court for proceeding. Surely, their life has been messed up with this development and they wont be free again for long time from now.
