Lagos State lack standard drainage

Dem say hunger dey, flood dey zuzu.

That's how I was returning yesterday and there was a heavy downpour. A torrential attack of my stomach infrastructure. To top that, it was frigging cold! Me wey never chop morning food come dey find a place to shelter me until the rain reduces.

See me see shop for far. It was like the more I hurried, the farther the shop became. E remain small the breeze for carry me go if I hadn't clutched a pole.

One aboki carrying wristwatches and his slippers on his head had fallen into a gutter. He was more concerned on saving his movable kiosk.

Then it looks like the whole crowd lost concentration on their old mumu and started spectating this new one. This aboki went to keep his watches in a shop and went back to the gutter like looking for sth.

In the middle of this dialogue, guess what?

A city that has not been clearing its refuse and waste, allowing the streets to be decorated with items that should have been dumped. What do you expect? This flooding isn't about rivers overflowing their banks but pure mismanagement of the little infrastructure available.

Like you re_@rds have not been seen heaps of refuse everywhere in lagos for some months now because your incompetent govt failed to evacuate them, now you expect people eat and sleep on their refuse.

The flood in Abia is far clean because of the work of Otti compared to this dirty African looking water I'm seeing here.

Oshodi is worse....waste everywhere.... what is happening to the bodies incharge they dont carry the dirts anymore....

That is what caused this in that video.... they dont clear the waste piled up....
