MTNnews:But documented migrants have been asked to leave too and their shops were also looted. Your country people don't want any black foreigner on their soil that's just it. People who killed Lucky Dube and said they thought he was a Nigerian that was why they killed him. People who killed a bright footballer like Senzo Meyiwa their own son and said they thought he was one of those foreigners who came to SA to take their jobs. I don't know why they always give this kind of funny excuses whenever they kill their own son. |

But you can not protect the people in the first place. You care more about the properties than the owners? |
| Re: Nigeria Moves to Protect Investments Abandoned by Returning Citizens From South by Kalulu44: 8:04am On Jul 01 |
LordLicifer:Yes agreed there's no merit for sanctions. But does that mean the immigrants properties are lost forever? If so, then you and your fellow SA are thieves that wants to sow where you didn't reap, and God and nature will punish you for that |

dermmy:They are just a terrible lot. Unfit to be called Humans. I have stayed in Jo'borg for some time in the past and i just wonder how these people hope to survive because while their Women are hard working, their Men are so lazy, drink Alcohol and take Drugs all day and when they dont have money to fund their bad habit, they resort to Crime. Why did they not SetUp Business, like the immigrants have done and then refuse to employ immigrants in such Business and reserve it for South Africans alone? Why do they just want to inherit the Business of Black Immigrants? Why cant they go and try to seize the Business of Indians and White Africaaners? If we remove what their White Masters have done and still doing in the Country, these miserable lots contribute nothing except Crime, to South Africa They should be rounded up and shipped to that Robbin Island Prison they kept Mandela. ![]() |

EdiskyHarry:Don't mind people, they are crying and wailing that south africans are united and trying to protect their country from criminals and illegals. Yet here in nigeria some tribes are claiming to own a partcular state in nigeria and telling a particular tribe to leave, tribalism is big in nigeria kidnapping, terrorisms, corruptions, bad governance, looting and banditry.. Let's fix our country and one day the south africans would want migrate to our country. |

MTNnews:Some of una go just open mouth waa dey talk rubbish with correct English, and think it'll automatically make sense. So illegal immigrants were able to secure a property, set-up a business, stock the business, procure assets? |
| Re: Nigeria Moves to Protect Investments Abandoned by Returning Citizens From South by smallsmall: 8:15am On Jul 01 |
BATified2023:In other words, in your warped and miserable thinking, every Nigerian and African Immigrant been chased away from South Africa, are Criminals? You see what we are saying? It is your type of person that glorifies and falls in-love with their Oppressors. They will even attack fellow-oppressed, in support of their oppressors! I cant remember the name they give to them, during the period of Slave Trade, something like 'House Nnn*!!*G*+Aaa! |

Mynd44:Like I said, if they were useful. Especially Africa Union. There are things like sanctions, suspension from the union, halt of trade, penalizing their external businesses in other African countries. But then again the union are nothing more than Osusu committee with only toothless Chihuahua power. |

Even BureauJournal:The federal government of Nigeria is approaching this issue in a very weak manner,in as much as they shouldn't support acts of criminality or violation of law by Nigerians abroad, they should vehemently n clearly let the south African authorities know that they have to provide clear evidence against the Nigerian citizens been reported out the their country or there would be reciprocal consequences, there should be decisiveness in the approach, that's how serious nations act to protect their citizens, name n interests, worst of all Nigeria should not be derided at least in Africa by any country if we are serious. |

Kalulu44: now you have doubled back, illegal immigrants cannot own properties in SA or anywhere in the world if you own a legitimate business or property in SA and you are legal nothing would happen to you or your property and business. There are many legal nigerians who owns property and business in SA and nothing happened to them they are still in. SA this morning going about their business.I am a nigerian bro! maybe we should stop the tribalisms going on in our own country, stop the keeelings, terrorisms, fix our country, hold our leaders accountable, vote in the right people God is not going to do a damm thing! We have been calling God since 1960 in nigeria yet things are getting worst in nigeria.Let's fix our country! Maybe one day south africans would want to come here, SA is not better than nigeria but at least they are united in what they did unlike us here in nigeria. |

smallsmall:Exactly, nigerians do not want to hear the truth i am full blooded proud nigerian unlike you, lets fix our country! Stop crying and wailing against SA who want to rid their country of criminals and illegals. I don't care what you think anyway! |

Maybe the Nigeria national orientation agency should used the energy to train Nigerians traveling abroad to know how to conduct themselves in someone else's land. Stephen0mozzy: |

chiboycue: There is nothing you or Teeenubu can do! Let fix nigeria use the same energy to hold our leaders accountable stop dreaming. This one wants to be nigeria president have you bothered to ask nigerian president why he hasn't done anything to south african businesses in nigeria? The same south african businesses employing nigerians.. some of yous are just ridiculous. What if your family member is employed by one of these businesses? |

amaridigital:You guys just need to cop-on. ![]() I think some of you need to mature-up and know when to engage in "Tribal fights" on the Web, If you have tribal-fights online all the time, especially when confronted with an external aggression, then you have defeated yourselves for the Enemy already, irrespective of who is right or Wrong. Proverb: Common Sense dictates that we first chase away the Fox, and then come back to reprimand the Chicken that failed to listen to correction. It is not when the Fox is trying to snatch the Chicken, that you start chasing the Chicken outside, so as to chastise it. Doing so will mean chasing the Chicken into the hands of the Fox, which is an unintentional consequence. Proverbs are not for Kids. |

| Re: Nigeria Moves to Protect Investments Abandoned by Returning Citizens From South by LordLicifer(m): 8:42am On Jul 01 |
MTNnews:Absolutely! If anyone don't like it they are free to leave SA maybe go back and fix their own country! stop going to become illegals in SA |
| Re: Nigeria Moves to Protect Investments Abandoned by Returning Citizens From South by Kalulu44: 8:45am On Jul 01 |
LordLicifer:It's like you're not getting the info that they are both looting legal imigrants shops and businesses too. You think it's all the Nigerians to that came back that are illegal, legal ones among them came back too for fear of destroying their properties and even killing them. . Yes we know we Nigerians have our problems, but that shouldn't make common SA ridicule us |
| Re: Nigeria Moves to Protect Investments Abandoned by Returning Citizens From South by LordLicifer(m): 8:46am On Jul 01 |
Tenses:Good! So why calling for Sanction agaisnt south africa then? Anyway! No country will sanction south africa not for asking illegals to leave, if someone is killed by south africans that is the job of the law in SA to take care of . |
| Re: Nigeria Moves to Protect Investments Abandoned by Returning Citizens From South by LordLicifer(m): 8:56am On Jul 01*. Modified: 9:34am On Jul 01 |
Kalulu44:I don't believe legal people are asked to leave they left because they are afraid as you said. I know some nigerians who are still in SA this morning and nothing happened to them. So many nigerians are married to SA women and has many children nothing happened to them, if anyone is running a legitimate business in SA africa nothing will happen to them. Some people on here are not getting the info. they are commenting with emotions and sentiments against what they believe which is that SA africans are cruel to nigerians. If SA can ridicule nigeria then SA can't be described as common. I come back to again, let's fix our country and SA and other countries wouldn't be ridiculing us. South africa is not better than nigeria. Believe it or not. |
| Re: Nigeria Moves to Protect Investments Abandoned by Returning Citizens From South by nwirinedu(m): 8:57am On Jul 01 |
Where will they fet such information? If they were doing well Nigerians would not have gone to SA to seek greeener pastures in the first place. Not too long ago in the 70s and 80s Nigeria was a patron to the ANC activitists, many of them lived in places like Lagos and Calabar and were taken care of by the governemnt in power then , enjoying free accomodation and stipends then. Mandela even visited Nigeria shortly after his release, and this is the thanks we are gettting from them. Those assets left behind by Nigerians in SA will exproriated by the government, the bulk of them, while the rests will be looted by the citizens. The smart ones should have sold their assets or hidden them. It always pays to invest a portion of your money at home at in some neutral country. |
