RandDigital:The normal human brain setting is to expect to get paid WHEN YOU WORK, not just expect free money. Then again, it's South Africa we're talking about here. By the way, behave yourself. You're on a NIGERIAN FORUM. |

RandDigital:90%+ literacy rate, only 8M out 60M are poor but you people are claiming foreigners are taking your job and violently expelling them your country, while maiming them too? What kind of mental gymnastic is that?

Allahismylord:Yes, it is my Father's forum. What behaviour can be more oppressive and gutter than South Africans'? |

EponObi:Yes, the anti-migration sentiment is most prominent amongst the poor because they're the ones losing out on employment because foreigners work for far less money. SA labour is unionized and we've fought for years for living wages only for undocumented immigrants to undo all those gains. The other 60M people in SA also suffer from high crime rates exacerbated by illegal migration. Why do you think the US and Europe don't want illegal migrants? Illegal migration does lead to crime because undocumented people function outside the official system. |

I envisage that even the white SA will soon leave that country. All immigrants should go please let that country implode |

In Nigeria, some people will organise some hungry people for just 5k naira to do a counter protest against the poor (themselves) that they don't want the money. Funny right? |

eepeepook:Follow suit to do what? Hand cash to undeserving people? Deserving only because they are citizens? Meaning you want to take cash from the people who have worked for it as tax, and hand it over to the people who haven't worked for it as social grants? Do you even know what a socialist economy ends up becoming? |

DeltaBachelor:Ramaphosa no get sense. People will resign from their jobs and start expecting monthly grants. Anytime it doesn't come, ANOTHER PROTEST. |
| Re: South Africa Finalising Permanent R350 Monthly Grant For The Poor by RandDigital(op): 7:29am On Jul 02 |
Helinuse:Not all government money comes from personal taxes. A society with less poverty is safer, healthier and more stable. Unless you're ok with world poverty like most African politicians. |

There should be social welfare packages to the poor in every country but how can one differentiate the poorest of the poor from those that are just managing? |

| Re: South Africa Finalising Permanent R350 Monthly Grant For The Poor by RandDigital(op): 7:42am On Jul 02 |
dominique:One determinant in SA is a bank account - most people are banked. Your bank balance determines if you get a grant or not. There are instances where the covid SRD grant won't be paid because there was a substantial deposit into your account that month. |

eepeepook:Follow what?! Giving money to lazy and irresponsible people?! No, we don't do that here and we don't want it here. We're satisfied with our rickety empowerment programs. No, thank you. |

RandDigital:But they wanted 1m Rand nah. Lol Ramaphosa is shortchanging these lazy xenophobes. R350 only? How much is Mqombothi and that cheap beer brand is SA? Will R350 cover that habits monthly since they don't pay rent in their 2 by 2 Pondokis? Lol |

RandDigital:You know this is a lie and propaganda. 1. Xenophobes are targeting everyone irrespective of immigration status. 2. Crime in SA is majorly by SAfricanss not foreigners. |
