Prospective Corp member should reject these ASAP; what sort of abuse is this? Reducing our noble corpers to crocs and adire, who brought this idea?

Why was a change necessary? .. the uniform was fine to me and internationally recognized. In these times of insecurity change of uniform will bring more harm to corpers. Imagine bandits/ terrorists seeing one dressed in the new outfit ... they'll be thinking hmmm ...this must be one of those forest guards or special unit ... boom!; What was wrong with the boots? ... and why Crocs? ... somebody getting a kick back? ... now the corper feet will be open to insect bites. snake bites . fungus. cholera. ... bruises and scrapes. ... I'd need to run for their lives .. can't. Changes just for the hell of it)

What kind of play is this? I thought the reform will make NYSC look more like a military setup military looking kaki and boots etc.... So corp members can get more military training for self defence. Lols...we can't be sure of this "Yoruba claim" now. Adire could even be done and supplied by any Nigerian. It will obviously boost our local tie and dye industry and create more jobs for Nigerians willing to take the opportunity if the old khaki material isn't Nigerian made or was imported..
