The problem with African teams is that they get mentally tired before the end of the game, thereby losing focus. Ironically, that is when their European counterparts get revived. Just look at the pattern of loss of these three RO32 matches:

1. Norway vs Ivory Coast
2. DRC vs England
3. Senegal vs Belgium

If you look at these matches, the African teams do not have any business losing those games. Why? Because they had control of the matches until the dying moments.

Except for Morocco, it will take donkey years before Africans will win the FIFA World Cup!

This conclusion is too broad. Three matches don't prove that African teams are mentally weaker than European teams. Football is full of late comebacks—European and South American teams have also thrown away winning positions in major tournaments.

I thank God that Nigeria didn't qualify for the world cup . If what happened to the Senegalese team happened to Nigeria yesterday, I don't know what would be the faith of the players. The incident of our match against the Italian team of 1994 was still fresh in my memory . I cannot imagine these to happen to Nigeria team again. Two goals up and you just gave it up just like that. Football is very cruel . It is a life experience that don't give up in any circumstances.
