The Ọzọ title is a rare title conferred on those who have made their mark in a community. The title is not for riffraffs, table rousers or never-do-wells. It is also expensive.

There are rules and regulations on how an Ọzọ chieftain should live, but I won't post it here.

Ozo is a very important title in igbo land. They are the decision makers of our land before the British invasion. Before we don't have a king rather it's chief priest tho he is also considered as eze(king).
