The presidency is doing senseless damage control. The NASS is mute.Gbaja ought to have been arrested by the EFCC, ICPC, DSS, or NPF by now alongside the man accusing him of shady deals but here is a nation bleeding from unimaginable corruption under a gang of ruthless kleptomaniacs. Meanwhile, all the fanatic Tinubu's lapdogs on this forum have gone mute with this Gbaja scandal. The solemn truth is that a corrupt tree can not bear good fruit. |

When a nation is administered by gangsters, mafia and other clandestine groups, this is the result....watch how this will be swept under the carpet like the case of the order given 'from above' for soldiers to vacate their security post before they kebbi students were kidnapped. The more you see they less you understand! |

The sad part is that the Presidency does not appear embarrassed by these allegations, and I can boldly say that if this pattern continues, corrupt practices will not cease anytime soon. When corruption is not properly investigated and punished, it creates a fertile ground for even more grievous acts of corruption to flourish. History has shown that impunity is one of the greatest enablers of corruption. When public officials believe that allegations against them will simply fade away without consequences, it removes the fear of accountability. It sends a dangerous message that those close to power can act without fear of sanctions. This is not the first time the Chief of Staff has faced allegations involving kickbacks and questionable dealings, yet there has been no visible consequence. If previous accusations were not properly investigated and addressed, what exactly would discourage a repeat of such behaviour? Accountability should not depend on political closeness or loyalty; it should be the foundation of public service. If the Presidency, especially the President, truly wants to demonstrate a commitment to transparency and ethical leadership, the proper thing would be to suspend any official facing serious allegations to allow for an independent investigation. Such a step is not a declaration of guilt; rather, it protects the integrity of the office, prevents possible interference, and reassures Nigerians that nobody is above scrutiny. What makes this situation even more painful and frustrating is the economic reality facing ordinary Nigerians. The government constantly speaks about revenue shortages and continues to borrow money to fund national obligations, yet citizens keep hearing allegations of waste, mismanagement, and funds being directed toward questionable or allegedly non-existent projects and agencies. At the end of the day, it is the struggling Nigerian people who bear the burden. It is the citizens dealing with high costs of living, increased taxes, inflation, and economic hardship who will eventually pay back these loans. That is why corruption in government is not just a political issue—it directly affects the food on people’s tables, the quality of public services, infrastructure, healthcare, education, and the future of the next generation. Leadership requires more than occupying an office; it requires moral courage, accountability, and the willingness to hold even close allies responsible. A government that demands sacrifice from its citizens must first show that it is willing to sacrifice political convenience in the pursuit of justice and good governance. For these reasons, I reiterate and support the call made by His Excellency Peter Obi demanding greater accountability at the highest level of government, including his call for the President to resign where leadership fails to uphold the standards Nigerians deserve. |

Sack kee? He will rather be hailed by awon alagbado ati akara empowerment supporters. Tribalism is a terrible disease, capable of retarding a nation's growth and destroying the lives of those practicing it. Like I reiterated in the past, i won't join anyone in any yeye protests again. The one I participated in, at ojota and oshodi back in the days won't happen again. We're the problem of ourselves. The Mr integrity kano lawmaker didn't do half of this before we protested for his removal and it happened |

Gbaja is genuinely one of the most effective and responsible representatives of our time. His work, both within his constituency and beyond, speaks for itself. I don't usually praise politicians, but Gbaja stands out. He represents the kind of leadership we should encourage and support. In my opinion, he is well suited for a higher office, whether as Governor of Lagos State or any other position that requires capable, responsible, and visionary leadership. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING una wan tell me about Gbaja wey I never see for him work. No politician is perfect, and none is a saint. The difference is that while many politicians only "chop, chop, chop," some actually deliver results. Gbaja belongs to the category of leaders who work. You may disagree with his politics, but it is difficult to deny the visible impact of his representation. That is the kind of leadership we should encourage, call out, correct and support: leaders who don't just occupy office, but use it to make a meaningful difference. |
