He only averts war in politics like averting war in Rivers state by removing a seating governor, then ignores war ravaging other parts of Nigeria, where they are raping, killing, kidnapping both citizens and the traditional rulers even in his own region... Awon war averters oshi! |

Never in our democracy have we seen the office of the NSA so politicized and advertised like this. It's why I keep calling it National Security Advertisments Under Section 14(2)(b) of the 1999 Constitution of Nigeria, the security and welfare of the people is explicitly declared as the primary purpose of government. As the Head of State, Head of Government, and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, the President of Nigeria bears the ultimate constitutional responsibility to secure the nation, its citizens, and its territorial integrity. In normal times, friction between national security chiefs and powerful politicians is handled entirely in secret. Today, the ONSA's operations are a staple of media gossip. In past administrations, the Minister of Information or presidential spokespeople handled political messaging, while the Ministry of Defence spoke on military operations. Currently, the ONSA is regularly used as a primary shield against critics of the administration. When the government faced heavy criticism over economic hardships, it was the NSA who publicly clashed with opposition figures and openly lambasted critics. This has fundamentally transformed a secretive security office into a front-facing political mouthpiece

I hope this solves the issue. But I’m disappointed at the Itshekiri people with the way they handled the situation. In a community or space where you are majority you don’t need to make noise, you don’t have to threaten people, it is normal for the small guy to shout and scream for help but you being the one in charge should have handled the issue better. Let me burst your brain, As an avid lover of history and genealogy. When it comes to the Niger Delta; as at today scientists have not been able to identify a difference between many closely related tribes especially those in the Niger Delta, Ijaws from Bayelsa, Edo, Delta and even Kalabari (Ijaw in rivers state dna) have similar dna and those dna are still somehow closely similar to those from Ogoni dna, Itshekiri dna and Urhobo dna have a long history of intermarriage so it is becoming difficult to even say for sure this is Urhobo and this is Itshekiri dna so usually they are lumped together as one indistinguishable group. Maybe in future the technology and interest in African dna especially at the local tribal level may increase and things may become clearer but as at today to my own understanding tribes within the Niger Delta are more similar than they are dis similar The igbos for example do not have one dna, they have many different DNA’s I don’t want to bore you with details so I will explain it this way the igbos in okigwe have different dna from igbos in Okija and they both have different dna from igbos in EBONYI and those once have different dna from others I was able to count over 20 different Igbo dna. Same thing for the Yorubas they also have very different DNA from one another You’ve probably heard them say things like “you are not pure Igbo” or “you are Ijebu ode” and they say it in a tone that either demeans or uplifts either to say you are pure or real or original or you no follow there is a reason for that Whereas for tribes in the Niger delta it’s not the same, I say all this to say we are more alike than we are dissimilar. So to cause a tribal war over political office or land makes no sense at all. We will all die and go that land will still remains 1000 men have owned that land before you and a thousand more will own the land after you So why waste your temporary 40 good years you have on earth (not counting the first 15 years when you were too young to enjoy life or understand what’s going on around you and the last 20 years when you are too old and too frail to enjoy life if you live long enough) Why waste your life on things that you cannot truly own. Life is for experiences not dragging land. I say all these to say these people are your brothers and they are few amongst you what is difficult in letting them have 4 or 8 years eventually you know it will come back to you just based on your size alone instead you have to wait for presidency to come and tell you to zone the office before you agree You shouldn’t have waited till then you should have just let them taste 4 or 8 years and then you can take it again for 16 then give them again for another 4 or 8 The way Ikwerre people are doing the Ijaw people in Rivers now they won’t even notice what’s going on. Also why are you guys fighting for offices that guarantees you nothing. Those offices only benefit the political class I mean the politicians at the very top not the wanna be local political jobbers who think that by azz kizzing the ones at the top they will get to the top that top is reserved for the current top politicians and their children if enough space open then they throw in their brothers or their brothers children but even that is extremely rare ask Wike he will tell you how Odili kicked out his brothers children from politics when Wike and co. Suggested they compensate Odilis brothers family with one political or judicial office since the brother just passed on Odili said no they should give it to his younger daughter instead That’s how the girl was made a magistrate (judge of the lower court in Rivers state) that year. So all of you thinking because someone from my tribe is in office my people will enjoy I laugh at your ignorance instead that person in most cases will personalize everything coming to that community or tribe or state |

You create a problem where none existed. You get people to sit down and agree to a non-enforceable contract. Then you publish a glowing advert congratulating yourself for a job well done. Balderdash. |

The President has done well in this regard by taking steps to avert what could have developed into another serious crisis. I sincerely appreciate this intervention because, for those who understand the history of Warri, we know the painful consequences of unresolved conflict. Since the crisis that engulfed Warri in 1999, the city has never truly recovered to its full potential. A city that was once known for its vibrancy, commercial activities, nightlife, hospitality, and opportunities suffered greatly. Businesses relocated, investments slowed down, trust was damaged, and many residents experienced the long-term effects of division and instability. That is why every effort aimed at promoting peace, fairness, and understanding among the people must be encouraged. For this, I say kudos to the Federal Government for choosing dialogue and a solution-oriented approach rather than allowing tension to escalate. At the end of the day, we must understand that no community truly benefits from conflict. We all need to coexist in a society built on fairness, justice, and mutual respect. Regardless of our differences, the prosperity and development of Warri should remain our common goal. A thriving city benefits everyone—creating jobs, attracting investors, improving infrastructure, and giving the younger generation hope for a better future. Now that steps are being taken toward peace, the political leaders, traditional institutions, business community, and stakeholders in Warri must begin to shift their focus toward economic rehabilitation. The conversation should move from division to development. We need deliberate policies and investments that will revive industries, attract businesses, improve security, create employment, and restore confidence in the city. Warri has enormous potential. Its strategic location, human capital, oil and gas history, commercial strength, and resilient people are assets that can drive a major comeback if properly harnessed. Many of us still remember the once lively Warri—the city full of energy, business activities, entertainment, and opportunities. We want to experience that Warri again. But achieving this requires unity, visionary leadership, and a collective decision that the progress of the city is bigger than any individual or group interest. Peace is the foundation, but development must be the destination. Let this moment become the beginning of a renewed Warri where everyone can participate, contribute, and prosper together. |

He only springs to action when votes are involved. Is this even democratic? Why is Tinubu interfering in what should purely be a matter for the independent electoral body? Nigeria is already at war with insecurity and other misgovernance issues in the country. Tinubu and his NSA should be averting that. |

Political representation improves with length of time a Rep stays in the National Assembly. It's not good to be rotated among groups. A Fula gave you what you call solution but a wrong one. Yeye. That's how some geandpas of the the present SS journeyed to Kaduna in 1967 and asked Hassan Katsina to beg Gowon to break the old Eastern Region into small enclaves to stop Biafra. Gowon quickly agreed. Shortly after, Arewa soldiers and politicians grabbed the multi billion Dollars oil blocks in the SS. |

They have only set the stage for a future crisis. Decreasing the number of Ijaw wards and increasing the number of itsekiri wards in Warri SW and Warri North is a recipe for future crisis. The first lady, NSA Ribadu and Mr President should be aware that they caused it. The groundwork for the current crisis was created by Awolowo the premier of West region at the time. |

Ribadu the Fulani man, would use oil money gotten from the Niger delta region to lobby Americans to ignore the fact of Christian genocide in Nigeria. |

Parachoko:Borno, Plateau, Benue, Kwara, Southern Kaduna, Katsina, Sokoto, Zamfara, even Oyo and under are under siege and you are here talking nonsense... If there are a set of people in large number who live in self deceit, it is you people, that is why Nigeria is the way it is today because you people are currently the ones occupying leadership positions, you people hate the truth... It's more of an ideology, tribal ideology, you just can't help it, you just have to lie, cheat, deceive, lie to yourself and convince your self to believe those lies and fight anyone who does not, the result is the Nigeria you see today.. It is one major reason I gave up on the unity of Nigeria...

You just dey wail as if nah 2023 insecurity start and Government is not doing anything. You forgot to mention states like Anambra, Abia, Imo where people were also running away from Thier villages but are now seeing peace return bit by bit Insecurity problem that has been going on for decades can't be stop easily Asiwaju pushed for State Police, so every state can also do their part in crushing insecurity No Government has done more to crush insecurity than Asiwaju's Government I know you're sad there's no crisis in Warri, you're sad Asiwaju don sort the Issue between The Ijaws and Itsekiris |
