Why not just ask for a car and leave the talks about you handling repairs private between you and your partner when discussion starts?
sometimes we put somethings out, not necessarily i wait till we talk privately. And also you can see i put it there that depends on agreement reached. Thanks

Good day guys. I am an uber driver in Lagos. I got a tokunbo engine for my big daddy camry at ladipo early last month (JUNE 2026), unfortunately the engine isn't performing optimally and I requested the seller to replace the engine or refund me which he refused, I recently discovered that what was sold to me is a recoupled engine and not a tokunbo engine as claimed by the seller. Pls guys how best can I go about resolving this matter cos due to this issue I have not been able to use the car to work for about a month now. Advices will be greatly appreciated......thanks

Did you go with a mechanic?
Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by lagosboy2k4: 5:18pm On Jul 02
The seller told me I don't need to come along with my mechanic that he will get me a mechanic in Ladipo

Now this is a red flag. A seller has no right to select a mechanic for you. The outcome is what you are experiencing at the moment.

Omo from 6280 to 6300 is all about CNG

When I dey find CNG last year June I know wetin my eye see for this forum .

Na person wey Wear shoe know as e dey pinch am ....

CNG is good and has always been .

I use an EV now
( Note it still has its demerits )

What's most important is drivers experience and goodwill .

There are drivers who use petrol yet still rake in better profits than drivers with CNG and EV....

House please, i have a 2013 Toyota Sienna, is it profitable to use it for e-hailing like Uber, Bolt and Co, or should i use it for airport tax, or should i sell and buy a 2007 Toyota Corolla?

Mind you, this car comes with a 3.5L V6 engine, but i would convert it to 100L CNG.

Like, what is the rough estimate it can make daily?
People have given u their advice but here is mine .

If I was in ur position

I would install CNG,
then use indrive XL (families that want comfort and space for airport pick up or drop off) you could do only two or three trips daily ..the advantage here is the prestine look of ur vehicle .

There are clients that would pay higher amount. because of your model than a 2006/08 model .

You can also make inter city trips on indrive .

Riders will see lesser price but there are those who pay for class they would book yours even if it's higher .

While your suggestion is valid but I can tell you if he tries it, he can go a week without a single trip! You're talking about 2-3 trips per day from Airport 😂 where he wan see am? Who wan give am space to park for airport and wait for those trips? You know how much be 1hr parking for airport nowadays? And na SUV him car classify as.

Boss make he do wetin dey him mind sha... Me I no sabi advice anybody because a man always has answers before actions. Even the guy wey buy Sakamaje Engine for Ladipo already knows the answer to what he is asking... But just wan who go help comfort am.
