What kind of a lazy man wait for his wife to buy a car for him. If she is earning 200k, you yourself earn 80k, at least you are up there not what this man is saying. |

How can you use Muslim beliefs as a standard of judgement? It is because those women will be murdered if they dare think of doing such a thing is why they are behaving. If they were given their natural rights and freedom you won't use them for an example |

Same money is the basis for which majority of you act like tyrants. Threatening to send your wives back to their fathers houses. So why act brand new or oblivious of how money intoxicates? Nigerian men are the wrong set to talk of this. Their marriage with women all over the world fails. Except for a minute percentage who are fair and humane. |

That's why our women are the nationality that usually cause problems for their husbands the moment some of them step foot in the Western world. |

Thewrath:True. Perhaps 95% of women never get to marry who they would have liked to marry. They married the guy who toasted them as time was running out. Or married for security to have a provider. Men should not fool themselves. Women can pretend very well. Once she now earns enough money, the need for a provider is not there anymore. If the last child is up to 10 years old, the need for the man becomes even less. He can be kicked out for flimsy reasons. Later, their sister's, friend's or neighbour's husband or a male work colleague could be their real spec. So, cheating becomes possible. Time to sample other men. How can a prolific sampler respect the man at home? |

Ojagun:You sound like a weak man. So if I go all through the troubles to marry a woman and make her well being my responsibility as my wife, I should not set defined boundaries or rather principles that she must respect? Naturally, whom so ever carries the burden of responsibility towards others enjoys the privileged position of having some leverage or control over the ones he/she is responsible for. |

I posted something like this. The guy in the video also said the same thing but women don't want to hear men, they want to hear themselves 👇 There are husbands who have married for financial gain. Marriage is a transaction if this happens. Most men derive purpose from providing but lose desire when that in itself is abused. A well to do woman knows that a man is taking advantage of her and whether we like it or not, hypergamy is real. So if the man is using her to go up, he better get it fast or has her family's support. In the past, marriages were financial transactions, that's why the royals don't marry below them. It's not just class, it's about protecting family assets and growing it. A man will become lazy if you give him what he should fight for easily. It will affect the woman and he will switch off his manly instincts because his primal desire to grab his share in this world was taken from him in exchange for pleasure.

Legally, If we should accept 50/50 marriages, both parties should respect each other regardless of who earns more and are both equal in the marriage. On the other hand, if we are to follow the laws of nature regardless of how wealthy the woman may be, should be submissive to the man💯 So, ask your future partners what type of settings they'd prefer, make everybody play him role. |

[quote author=EmmyMaestro post=139909447]“Once African Women Make Money, The First Person They Disrespect Is Their Husband” – Man stirs reactions with controversial take A Canadian-based Nigerian man has stirred reactions online after sharing his opinion on what men value most in relationships and marriage, claiming that respect is more important than intimacy, food, or any other gesture. According to him, even if a woman becomes the breadwinner of the family, she should never stop respecting her husband, insisting that respect is the foundation of a successful marriage. In his words, he said: “The only thing a man is looking for in a relationship or marriage is respect, even if you’re the breadwinner of the family. Trust me, it’s not intimacy, food, or several other things. That can be arranged.” The man went on to compare African women with Indian and Pakistani women, claiming that many women from those cultures continue to honour their husbands regardless of who earns more in the home. He further alleged that some African women begin to look down on their husbands once they become financially successful, especially when the man experiences financial setbacks. “You’ll see Indian and Pakistani women earning more than their husbands, yet they still respect them. But some African women start disrespecting their husbands once they become successful. If you disrespect your husband, nobody will respect him, not even your children,” he added. His remarks have sparked mixed reactions online, with some agreeing that mutual respect is vital in marriage, while others argued that respect should be earned and should go both ways. The video has continued to generate debate on social media, with Nigerians sharing different opinions on finances, gender roles and respect in modern marriages. man has said it all |
