It is well... But ask yourself... Do you know how many ppl will be involve in this project?... Engineers, economic experts and all... So you are saying you are more intelligent that them all? You are sayin non of them would have done all this you wrote up before building the plant?....
We blame our government if they don't do... But when the eventually do... We rubbish it with negative feedback/ backlash...
You talk of local market
Do you know how many millions of fone users in the country

Do you know keke maruwa ppl now use battery cos it cheaper than fuel...

Laptop users..

Solaris users
... So I dnt see any local market issue.
Lastly... I dnt do Apc, pdp, fst or wot ever name you call it.. All that matters is development.... That's all I want to see and discus....
None of those people do what I presented here
Have you not heard of feel good projects ?

IT’s economical impossible for Ajoakuta to ever be profit and
Fabric factories in the north
Kaduna refinery can’t even refine Nigerians crude yet it was built
Lagos Ibadan rail line is not viable but was built by borrowed money

I can go on and on

When operational with a big ‘if’ locally made and assembled lithium batteries will be more expensive than the imported ones as usual .

Newly built? A company that has been operating for over two years now. It was just commissioned on the 2nd of July 2026, not built. And it wasn't built by the state government. It is a Chinese owned limited company

Yes there are lot of changes in our lives, your stagnatedlife is not the norm or the yardstick to measure the growth of Nigerians.

The fact you languish in perpetual poverty n wretchedness does not mean that happens across board, it happen only in your fathers household.

We clearly remember how you n others hate filled being from your region claim Dangote refinery was a fraud n won't come into existence till 4040.

Today Nigeria earns millions from refined products to the shame of your soul. Dollars used to buy those products saved with additional over 2000 jobs created to your shame.

The way Nigeria progress put you to shame with Dangote, that is how Nigeria itself will shame you over n over again
.

And with all the anger you used to talk this, you felt wise.

You somehow think that immediate hunger should not be addressed, but building industries for future satisfaction should.

But somehow, you ate breakfast. You didn’t take the money to invest in long term crypto.

Why?
You hypocrites sha.

They gave money for Akara, you complained.

They built roads and rail tracks, you whinged.

They created lithium processing industries, you cried.

grin

6,000 MT per day? That's a huge amount of mining. I hope the environment where the mining is taking place is being protected, and that the local communities are getting their fair share of the revenue generated from these mining activities.
that's why they are sponsoring bandits & armed herdsmen to acquire more land inside Benue and Taraba

mrvitalis:
Every single person that supports APC even me when I used to lack basic understanding of economics particularly in a capitalist economy

They don’t know how job creation works
Don’t know the viability of projects
Don’t know the impact of loans
Don’t know devaluation
Don’t know reference point when gdp is measured

They just want legacy projects , is it viable they don’t care
How is the funding done they don’t care

I call it the “awolowo syndrome “ or “cocoa house effect “
Awolowo was the first to do it
Cocoa house is the poster child

Beautiful fancy and feel good project to be proud of but has absolutely no viability

This is 2026 you and you are building a lithium plant without any demand for lithium locally first ?

Is the plant lithium competitive ? Can you be profitable if you sale at the global price ?

If it fails now we would say we lack maintenance culture

But I hope and wish this is not a government project sha
You're most likely an Obidient but make I school you, there's no way anyone would build a manufacturing project without putting into consideration all you mentioned. Even if they are using stolen money. One reason Ajaokuta didn't succeed till date is that the quality of ore in that area is very low same thing with our zircon sand industry in Nigeria. That's said, who told you cocoa house was a white elephant project or that O'dua group crashed? If that's your believe then you don't know what you're saying.

Awolowo gave farmers children free education and health, then we didn't have a quarter of our population today. You don't expect the same structures built for 60m people to work for 200m people. It was those who came after Awolowo who didn't do anything. Imagine Tinubu is now rebuilding many roads that were never touched since Awolowo left. It's that bad.

If others have been working, I bet things wouldn't have been on ground zero like this. Y'all want to sound brilliant but always end up showing your ignorance. Go to OAU and you'd better understand some of the visions of Awolowo.

Nigeria built a refinery in kaduna that can refine Nigerians crude

Nigeria built a steel plant that they know can never break even or be profitable

Nigerian spent 1 billion dollars on refinery that they know can never be profitable

U want more

Awolowo desire for legacy project is simply what the present Day leaders are following

He only didn’t it with revenue while they borrow to build

olaniyi dangote is producing cement and refining crude in Nigeria paying Nigerian workers in naira yet your buying a bag of cement 12 ,000 naira and fuel 1,200 naira, things are cheap in china because they are producing it in china by Chinese so what is our gain that dangote is controlling cement and petroleum market?in a sane country dangote by now will be in prison his too corrupt supporting every government from bandits infested government of buhari to criminal infested government of tinubu

With the exception of a few myopic ones, the majority of Obidients only want Ibo presidency full stop!
You can’t want a better Nigeria and be more excited when there’s bad news about Nigeria than when there’s any good news.
You can’t want a better Nigeria and queue behind a corrupt and incompetent former governor like Obi.

Such investment does work out if all you is fold your arms and be waiting for Dangote to bring your breakfast, lunch and dinner for you without lifting a finger.Investments create enabling environment ,it doesn't directly put money in your bank account. You activate it by doing something!

You are still stuck on immediate hunger despite my clarification ooo. Chai

Solving "immediate hunger" does not end hunger, sir. It is subsistence thinking and drives people into impulsive, hunger-driven decisions with longterm onsequences.

Sorry if I hit a nerve. My intention was to simply point our that a well thought out industry will address hunger better in the long run and in the immediate too

I hope the mining of minerals all over the country is done in a controlled fashion
It will affect our ground water nationwide o
There’s so much research done on this in DRC
All the possible politicians & accomplices enjoying illegal mining dividends better look into this
