after yesterday's match I came to the conclusion that Argentina were just lucky in the group stage cos they didn't face a tough opponent.
Yesterday's match with ordinary cape Verde see as all their players weak finish.

I sat down recently and analyzed some teams
Such as England, Netherland, Japan, Columbia, Morocco, Norway, Senegal.

I was shocked of their sqaud depth and this are the real Dark Horses.

As for Portugal they will not cross the Quarter finals (I hope they even reach it).

Ronaldo has already curse himself & the team when he told Piers Morgan that he don't need the world cup

As I said before, Players win you matches but a team win you trophies. (Madrid & Barca is a case study)

Yes, they are the most qualified to beat all the other teams mercilessly. That Portugal vs Spain match na real error. Dem sha no won this man win WC sha. At least dem dash am MOTM after scoring a penalty for his team. So, if Spain crushes them, then he can boast of that. If Portugal crushes Spain on the other hand, CR7 go still get hope. Anyways, I don't see any team beating this PSG-like French team o. E go hard. Argentina...hmmm...if dem no dey careful, Egypt will send them back to Rosario. You almost spoke my mind. Except for England VS Mexico. Mexico will not sit back like Ghana and Dr Congo against England and that should play into England's hands.

But the high altitude makes Mexico slight favorites. I think it's a 50-50 game.

Lol... That Cape verde game ehn... I saw real palpable fear in the eyes of Messi, Scaloni and the fans.

Kudos to Cape verde... They did precisely what so called bigger African teams couldn't. They played without fear.

They went toe to toe with the greatest, and almost triumphed.

Argentina had a narrow escape, they were lucky the game didn't go into spot kicks......I know it's a game of luck but Carpe Verde would have been more motivated because they got nothing to lose.

The French team is scary, they play like aliens. It would be difficult for any team to stop them.

Well, the easy ride always ends at some point.

Cape verde exposed how really vulnerable those Argentines are, and showed the world they can be beaten, anytime, anyday.

It would be interesting to see how they fare against a proper or more complete team of warriors.

France might take it this time.

The SHOCK of what could or might have been will keep them awake and on their toes for the rest of the competition.

If only Salah and his team mates will grow some balls and do like Cape verde for the next game.

Messi felt the same FEAR that Ronaldo felt in the previous game.

This world cup has too many dark horses.

I see spain edging out Portugal, Portugal can only make it through the lottery of penalty kicks.

England vs Mexico is also tricky, but the three lions have more talents to win this match hopefully within regulation time to avoid the lottery of penalties.

Let's be honest.

People here are saying that Argentina was lucky. But can't appreciate the Argentina players fighting and warrior spirit

Walai if those Cabo guys met another team apart from France & Morocco (Who also have a warrior spirit like Argentina).
Those guys should have won.

Much thanks to Vozinha. That guy kept the score 3-2. If not it should have been at least 5-2 or the match wouldn't have reached extra time.

Bravo again to Messi!!!. Martinez was fantastic.
I hope they have learnt their lessons same way they did after Saudi Arabia match and also the Netherland match on their way to victory in 2022.

Bet me Argentina have just activated beast mode after this round of 32 Match. They escaped and also learnt the hard way so early.
