See us celebrating dictatorship in Burkina Faso.

Preventing student from studying abroad does not make you developed overnight. It only limits what you know.

Even China sends students abroad to study.

This Egun boy. Go and rest.

However, this Burkina Fasso new education policy is the only way to make the country educational system to work. Just extend it to Health and automobile.

If government stops you from going abroad to pursue your education or they say you need their permission before you can do that, no be una go still go to court and say it is against your constitutional right and freedom of choice?

Una nor know wetin una want for this country.

BF people will soon start to revolt against most of these draconian laws.

Besides, you cannot compare BF of barely 24 million people with a country of over 200m?

Burkina Faso’s situation is complex and showing polarized trends, with notable improvements in the economy and infrastructure offset by severe political regression and ongoing security crises.

The country is experiencing a mixed trajectory:

The economy has shown resilience with an estimated GDP growth of 5.3%. This momentum is largely driven by a historic surge in gold production and improved domestic revenue mobilization.

Under Captain Ibrahim Traoré's administration, the country is executing multiple national development projects, including highway expansions (such as the Ouagadougou-Bobo-Dioulasso Expressway), agricultural irrigation schemes, and mining sector reforms aimed at national self-reliance.

Extreme Poverty: Extreme poverty rates have seen a decline due to robust growth in the agricultural and services sectors.

The so-called "elite education" he enjoyed in the UK clearly did NOT work because the guy is still DULL.

Because, how else would someone INTERPRET what is clearly an attempt by an ILLEGITIMATE Military Regime to CONTROL what the masses learn in order to CONSOLIDATE power as a SUPERIOR way to improve education.

Plus, ANYBODY who's NOT just a blind HATER of their own country can see that education in Nigeria, especially Tertiary Institutions, have been on an UPWARD trajectory in the past decade.

Nigerian schools are BREAKING into rankings they'd NEVER entered before.
Nigerian scholars are leveraging NEW and IMPROVED learning facilities to produce VALUABLE researches.

People who have NEVER read a research paper in their LIVES keep shitting on their country.

Imagine a NON-MILITARY government in Nigeria BANS the movement of PRIVATE individuals in pursuit of education, the UK-education that this MOOMOO used to define himself as a "pseudo-elite" would have been IMPOSSIBLE.

And if a Military Government did INSTITUTE something like that, Nigerians would have to DEAL with the UNCHECKED, UNBRIDLED and UNCURBED excesses of the Nigerian Military.

And we KNOW how brutal the CRIMINALS in uniform can be.

Nigerian Education still has a LOOONG way to go.
Improvements are NECESSARY.
Maybe even a total OVERHAUL.

But using the actions of an ILLEGITIMATE Military GOONS as an excuse to SHEET on your own country is just STEWPID.

These are proper reforms that indicate true leadership and patriotism......the enemies of Africa can keep on hating and spreading propaganda against this man while also sponsoring terrorists organizations to make his country ungovernable but those who have seen and understood the hand writing on the wall are well aware that he is a true son of the soil and he is aimed at making his country great unlike the sell outs here....hopefully he will overcome and many of his likes will rise up to help Africa break from it's bondage....Ase!!!
Not until you come to realistic that, the enemy of Africa is Africans themselves. Starting from leaders both civilians and military down to masses, even you that wailing everytime.

You should also know that, nobody will develop his land except the owner of land.

Anyone that keeps on blaming others for his woes, will be on the ground for many many years to come. Learn how to take responsibilities for your actions and inactions.

If West doesn't destroy but allowed, countries like, Malaysia, Qartar, UAE etc to develop, they won't stop Africa nation if they wish

we are already facing the consequences of years of such stupidity by the past parents......we have the chance to make sure we build a better future for the next generation as a matter of urgency.
And how do u intend to do that? Through the ballot?

Democracy won't change shit in this country. GEJ only failed re-election because he's a gentleman with some morals.

They're already telling u that if you like kidnap everyone, they'll still win election, and there's nothing you can do about it.

They're already mapping out their successors, and that's how they'll continue.

If all our politicians including the president used our general healthcare centers and not private or foreign hospitals, they will be forced to ensure the facilities are properly equipped and medical staffs are adequately taken care of.

If all our politicians including the president's children attended our schools esp the tertiary institutions, they will be compelled to bring in the very best teaching atmosphere including state of the art equipments.

This guy is a Dundee.

So if government suddenly say all Nigerian students cannot travel abroad for school again, na the same werey go talk say government is dictatorial.

Make Tinubu just pronounce am say no student fit travel abroad again, na tomorrow same Hyundai go tweet crying that we are back to military era
You should know by now that all policies are good until Tinubu implements those very policies, then all hell is let loose. I was a kid since when I started hearing about how exchange rate unification and subsidy removal are the right policies from profound economists. But the moment Tinubu implemented those policies, we started hearing all sorts of misgivings

Yep... Place a firm and complete ban on medical tourism and put a law that only accepts Nigerian graduates for employment and political positions or appointments, and see this nation rise massively in a short time.

It will be very difficult to do the same in Nigeria. Nigeria is a very big nation with more educated and sophisticated people. I recall during the Abacha era, people like Prof. Wole Soyinka and many others were writing and calling the government out from their based outside the country from where they have gone to seek an asylum.
