Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru of Ebonyi State has come a long way. Many people dont know he was once a Bricklayer.

How did he go from being a Bricklayer to becoming a Governor? The story goes that Nwifuru became a loyal aid to an up and coming businessman and aspiring politician called Dave Umahi

Dave Umahi would go on to become deputy Governor and Governor, and took Nwifuru along. Nwifuru became Dave Umahi's annointed political son and handed over to him when his tenure ended

Nwifuru is now Governor of Ebonyi State while Dave Umahi is Minister of works.

How can you be a beggar and still decide that any legal job is beneath you..

There are building sites everywhere, but go to every junction in Lagos, you will see young men standing beside POS kiosks and waiting for you to withdraw so they can beg for money. Very irritating stuff.

Go to school, if you can't find a job. Start somewhere and work your way upwards.

Each time I hear the name Ebonyi, I wonder if it's truly a state in Nigeria 😂

One of the most painful truth about Nigeria politicians is that some of them making education so expensive for the children of the poor graduated through scholarships. Instead of putting policies in place that will help the average Nigeriasns, some of them are setting up government universities and are also being paid by the students through different channels created with the institutions.
