No. My praises for Iran are not over hyped; it was based on real and verified battlefield success that took even the enemy by surprise (as they later admitted) and the leverage and potential outcomes such success offers.

But, notwithstanding, I will maintain my confidence on the military side of things in the hope some pressure from them can force the political mullahs to fall back in line and act along rational lines.

He seem to be playing both sides due to his History with the IRGC.
Qalibaf is the head of the snake, he singlehandedly made sure Jalili lost the Elections, and also keeping the Parliament locked.
I think after the Funeral he will be forced to Open the Parliament. He deliberately refused to forward the Resolution on the NPT exit to Pez thereby shielding him from Public outrage.
Qalibaf needs to fall from a window real soon.
