Give it 10 years from now(max 15), there will be no brains to drain again from Nigeria. All these new generation boys and girls doing social media, TikTok up and down will not be desirable for the system abroad. They dont like school they dont like hardwork they cannot delay gratification, they are looking for fast prosperity which abroad does not give(you have to put in the work). Everybody wants to be a content creator. The last generation with those values will be around 40-50years, no longer desirable abroad because of age. |

Not surprised almost no one is opposing this thread... A very shallow mindset writer, not surprised a lot of people can relate with the junk you put up. Xenophobia is not enough na. Until Europe starts deporting en mass, then maybe just maybe you guys would fight for your country. Keep running to country where their people paid in blood and sweat. Nigeria doesn't even know war as much as a average European country, yet they didn't abandon their land, they stood and built their country, now africans that don't understand what it means to fight only to run away from problems are now going to their countries to cause problems. If you don't believe the country can be fixed you are a significant part of Nigeria problem it's that simple. You just write up shit and post just for the sake of it. Blud if you wana travel so bad, you dont need to justify it with this dumb ass thread, just do it. |

FatimaAbubakar:not a supporter of tinubu even since last election I never saw anything in peter obi cause since then, from the way he talks I knew he had nothing to offer just emi lokan like tinubu. Now, what op posted is mostly trash. There are people that have given up on nigeria, fine if op wants to leave nigeria let him up and leave. But saying nigeria can never be saved it just straight up dumb... see germany after ww2 and ww1, Korea after civil war, Mao China, the Russians, these countries where in worse state than nigeria has never ever been in, the people stood their ground and paid in blood and sweat for the country, those that fled did, and those that remained and stood their grounds did and see these countries I mentioned how are they all fairing, nigeria has only witnessed just one civil war, and a weaponised illiteracy system, that the average nigerian can't seen to wake up from the trance. All these nigeria can't be fixed is exactly what the government want us to think, they won't want us to fight, we keep playing into their hands, won't be surprised if Op is an APC member low-key, cause a thing that distracts or redirects our anger from the government, definitely has political undertones. Yeah u can argue that yeah op is just saying based on realities on ground. If op wants to flee let him and others do so. Nigeria would get better, we don't know when but she would. |

frog12:The EU-India Free Trade & Mobility Agreement Give Indian professionals access to EU Migration and Mobility Partnership Agreements UK-India Free Trade Agreement Even in Canada, there is a reason why there are like 2-3million Indians living there and they are 2 -3 percentage of the population. Nigerians aren't up to 500k living in Canada |

whitebeard:You just exposed how shallow and empty you are. You attack people instead of countering their opinions with intelligence. To people like you who find it difficult to think brilliantly, insult is equal to intelligence. |

Rapmoney:Sir, how are you different from what you are accusing me of..?! Cause you are literally doing the same thing, I gave points in my post and you just called me names...?! Stop pretending to be what you are not, you are a terrible pretender, I can see you whole game from your post, just stay away from me. I like people that don't know and know they don't know and don't pretend that they do know. You see people that don't know and pretend that they do know. It's why nigeria is where she is today. |

whitebeard:I usually don't have time to argue with kids like you. The internet has made it possible to share space with people who normally would not dare enter places where you are invited to make speeches. You have to identify the type of people you do your funny chitty-chatty with on Nairaland. |

sigmax:How many masses have become leaders since me and you have been in Nigeria? It's the family of the leaders that are becoming leaders, not the masses. |

sigmax:China faced corruption, not ideological conflict, like I do tell people, corruption is not the major problem of Nigeria, bad governance is not the major problem of Nigeria either, they are only products of the major problem which is ideological conflict... What exposed this very much was Buhari and Tinubu's presidency, it has always been there but hidden, you think most of those who supported Buhari for 8 years did not know he was performing badly? Do you think those who are supporting Tinubu now don't know he is failing? They know, but they are supporting him, a lot are not benefiting anything financially, so you might ask, why are they still supporting him? Because they believe they are getting what they want, and you might ask what are they getting? Fulfillment, Fulfillment that they have achieved tribal, religious or political supremacy... And sincerely speaking, that's just what they want, they don't mind if the country burns down and this people are ready to fight to maintain that fulfillment. If you are thinking the things happening in Nigeria today are happening by accident, you are very wrong, this is what some people want, they have never felt more fulfilled about Nigeria like they are doing now... I didn't mention any region, but I know your mind is giving you directions.... We don't share the same ideology, what we want is not the same... |

Brendaniel:You don't know what China suffered ,I will advise you read their history starting from emperor Cheng to how the country was colonised and suffered tremendous poverty . Before Tinubu ,Nigeria has been failing and there's no current better alternative to Tinubu's presidency . |

| Re: Reasons Why Brain Drain And The Japa Trend Will Continue In Nigeria by Brendaniel: 10:55pm On Jul 04 |
sigmax:They did not face ideological problem, one of the hardest wars to fight is ideological wars, that's why the U.S is failing in almost all the Muslim countries... And your last line shows you are part of the ideological problem Nigeria is facingn and don't still get the message I'm trying to pass... |

Rapmoney: If we lost then then they weren't so great to begin with Every year, seasoned professionals leave in droves in what we normally call the 'Japa Syndrome'. Many brilliant medical practitioners, bright engineers, wonderful accountants, astute technicians, and outstanding educators have left. They did not leave because they hated Nigeria, but they did not want to get stuck in an environment where their skills and expertise are usually rewarded with peanuts. |
