Kenyan Transportation System(the Matatu Culture) by Noble11(m): 7:46pm On May 01, 2017 |
I have been to some countries around africa and outside africa too..But most of my interest are the mode of transportation in those countries.. Like the luxury Dubai taxi and the Metro train in china But what got my attention is the kenyan transportation system called MATATU. Just like what we have in Naija,(from idumota to mile 2 or ojuelegba etc) but these buses are pimped in and out, some spend upto $500 just for pimping of their buses. The sound systems are out of this world. Make sure your phones are on vibration The front seats are mostly for the ladies unless you have connections. Its mostly for young people. Most of the buses have wifi,CCTV and charging pots. If you hate the traffic jams then the bus is what you need cos most of them don't obey traffic rules. Make sure you try using one of them whenever you are in kenya. Pictures and more coming.... Note:pls mod should move it to appropriate forum.thanks |
