I just hope Supergirl box office number tops that historical flop of a movie called Suicide Squad. Cause, we're seeing a blame pattern, where Gunn babies will completely denied Gunn's heavily interference in Supergirl movie and him being the main cause why Supergirl tanked badly

A new bombshell report from The Hollywood Reporter reveals that DC Studios co-CEOs James Gunn and Peter Safran clashed with director Craig Gillespie over the final cut of Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow.
According to insiders, the film struggled to find its footing in post-production after wrapping in May 2025, with early test screenings pulling scores trapped in the 60s.
The creative friction grew to the point where the studio forced a "bakeoff"—testing two competing versions of the movie against each other. Gillespie’s cut was reportedly 11 minutes longer and featured a heavier emphasis on the villain, Krem (Matthias Schoenaerts), while the studio’s cut featured alternative music choices and scenes rewritten by Jeremy Slater (Moon Knight) for a 9-day reshoot.
Ultimately, the studio’s cut edged out the director’s version by a razor-thin two points in test screenings, becoming the version sent to theaters. From what I have read, it seems neither cut would have done well either. What you get when you rush things through and don't listen to what the audience want.

Superhero movies are dying slowly and right now, only nostalgia and having a great story that relates with existing trends seem to working for it, hence why Marvel chickened out of Kang Dynasty to bringing back Robert Downey.

Again, shows Warner Bros are the ones shooting themselves in the foot.
