The question is, who told you that it is when you die that you either go to heaven or hell? Where did you read it from?

Now note something, there is a difference between physical death and spiritual death.

Spiritual death: this is separation from the spirit of God
Physical death: this is separation of spirit/soul from the body

The Bible says that the soul that sinneth it shall die. This death of the soul is the separation of the soul from God. The soul that separates from God loses everything; a dead soul is a soul that has gone to hell. A soul loses it's separation from God primarily by doing evil, deeds, and continuously doing works of unrighteousness evil and wickedness.

The hell of a dead soul is right here on this earth.

Nigeria for example is an abode of dead souls. These are souls that do not have any connection with God; they have a show of leaves but they don't have any fruits! Common sense tells you that the Bible indicated that heaven/hell are spiritual places

A dead soul does not have the presence of God. He is a human hyena. But even in hell, there are oases of heaven, the oasis of heaven are individuals who try to do the will of God, who try to be righteous, God will protect them from suffering.

What will qualify anyone for a life of heaven on earth is righteousness. Righteousness, doing the things that are right and good before the LORD, having God in your consciousness in all that you do, is what will bring heaven down to you.

A single person can be an oasis of water and a wellspring of life in a scorching hell because the LORD knows how to protect his own.

You must ensure that you do not listen to all these atheist pastors or GOs, they profess Jesus Christ with their mouths but their hearts are far from him, because they are tithes and offerings collectors, they are the modern day scribes and Pharisees who sit in the seat of Moses. That passage does not state any of what you claim. It instead uses an analogy to tell a story about a rich man and another named Lazarus, both of whom were Israelites. Try again!

Linearity is the basest level of interpretation or understanding of the Bible
