➜LOOK AT DISGRACEFUL, NIGERIAN FAKE-DEMOCRACY?
1. What Nigeria has is nothing like the Western model of democracy. It is not even designed as a pure democracy--- most democracies in the Western world are not pure or direct democracies. For instance, the U.S. is a Republic, and not really a democracy in the direct sense of the word. What Nigeria has is something that was built to fail from its very beginning. The framers of the Nigerian Constitution did so many things to ensure its very failure from the beginning. undecided

Also, Nigerians did attempt to invent their Sharia-democracy quagmire of a constitution and their attempts at the quota system of government, which backfired almost immediately. So, let's not pretend that the reason why Nigeria is where it is today has nothing to do with the stewpid ideas the people and those in power came up with. undecided

2. What Nigeria has was taken from countries like Somalia, and not any Western state that we know of. Why do I say that? After closely reading the Nigerian Constitution, I realized that, rather than a Western Democracy, Nigeria inserted Sharia right in the middle of its own democracy, making it impossible for it to be of Western origins and more of something that an Islamic theocracy could have cooked up to appear Western to those not paying attention. If you have studied nations, you would have noted by now that Western civilization and Sharia/Islam are indeed incompatible. undecided

3. Well, again, the framers of the Constitution designed it to fail from the get-go. No wonder it began failing right from the first 4-year term of Obasanjo, and Nigeria are were we are today with it. undecided

Well explained.
But Nigeria will claim they have a democracy. With the insertion of “SHARIA” in the Nigerian constitution, they should change the government system to “SHARIOCRACY”!🍷

The same “Western World” will still congratulate civilian-coupist after rigging and assist in exploiting the countries involved.

Such hypocrisy!

That constitution was intentionally built to fail! And importantly, the failure was intentional... planned! That is why the U.S. saw this and wrote about this from before 2011, but Nigerians instead chose to believe that the US instead had it in for Nigeria. undecided

Why shouldn't the West congratulate you for the problems you intentionally create for yourselves and build upon? It is literally African culture at this point to celebrate mediocrity and wickedness. We have been doing it for the longest. Why expect the West to stand against your culture and its fruits for you? undecided

You scream hypocrisy at the West, forgetting you are meant to remove the plank in your eyes before you can obtain the right to do that. Check your history and open your eyes to what has been before you! The West is not your problem or your enemy; you are! undecided

Is that not why we are spending time on NL to educate on the need for change?
That is why I spend my time on social media. What else do you want me to do?
Am I a politician?🤷🏾‍♀️

I am a media activist. The best I can do.
I already have a career and so entertain myself with Nigeria and world affairs.🍷

You also have a part to play. Find your comfort zone.🍷

1. The ones who celebrate even the corrupt politicians, slave traders and thieves are ordinary people, though, not those self-made elites who can see through each other's bullsheet. undecided

2. I believe that what media activists can do is to better job at visiting the facts and ensuring that is spread, and no more of the old lies that have kept Nigeria rolling along to this point. Nigerian culture is built on a foundation of lies, at the same time, steeped in lies. Anyone who wants to change that needs to completely abandon the false narratives to help. undecided

3. My comfort zone has been and remains in learning the truth and shredding the lies as I go. I believe even now, I can shock you with a truth that you may have never considered before now. undecided

1. I can never celebrate corruption or incompetence. I can only speak for myself, not others.
2. I can only present sources I have seen. If they are false, I will retract them. Besides news feeds and online reports, what form of verification can there be? If you have them, provide them.
3. We are all learning. Please, shock away. At this point in my life, nothing can shock me. The world remains deep and treacherous. The reason I trust NO ONE!🍷

1. Well, you are a major minority there, given that much of what we celebrate as culture in Nigeria is ideas that were put forward, and celebrated for the longest by the very corrupt and incompetent in our society. undecided

2. The Constitution, the legal codes, Acts, Bills, and so on. I like to read widely so I can know exactly what those in politics are doing from what they continue to say. undecided

After encountering Sharia and the Northern penal code, I decided this year to read the 3 major collections on the religion (The Sirah RassulAllah -- The Life of Mohammed--, the Quran, and the Hadiths[Sahih Muslim, Sahih Al-Bukhari...]) to learn exactly what the difference, if any exists between the Islamic rulers and the Islamic terrorists of Islam which seems to bent on taking over Nigeria today. I also revisited the history of slavery in Nigeria, Colonization in Nigeria, the civil war, etc. The quest for the truth is never-ending. Recall that in every situation, there is only one truth; all others are lies. undecided

3. Well, here goes! Did you know that if not for the British colonial masters, not only would Nigeria have been an Islamic state long ago, but many of the languages and cultures you know of today would have been Arabized beyond recognition? Nigerians are typically raised to demonize the coming of the colonial masters and to pretend the white man was a plague on Nigeria, but when you examine the truth. The White man not only delayed the Islamization of Nigeria, but he also helped end the enslavement of millions of Nigerians by the Islamic hordes that were already in the land and taking over lives. undecided

1. I repeat: I am not “we”. I am sure you can point to them even here on NL. Do you need help addressing them? I do on a daily basis. OBIDIENTS voted for change and corruption won and installed a MANDATE-THIEF in Aso Rock. Did you complain?

2. Nigeria does NOT have a constitution.🍷You have to read the “Sharia” doctrines to decipher fake from real? You really have a lot of time on your hands. I will do no such thing because Nigeria is not the only country with religion. What we have is a total breakdown of law and order that fosters tribalism and bigotry. Which truth are you talking about?

3. Nigeria is ALREADY an Islamic state. A member of the IOC. Thanks to IBB AND OBJ!✅ The white man is protecting his own country and interests. Time for Africans to do likewise. Tribute to AES(Muslim countries if I may add).🍷

1. I don't agree with the obidients either. undecided

2. Nigeria has a constitution, albeit one designed to fail. If it had no constitution, it wouldn't be a nation. undecided

3. Wrong! I didn't need to read it to know fake from real... or whatever that means. I read it because I needed to be more informed to clearly identify it from what it is not. Knowledge is never wasted. undecided

4. Also, you are wrong in assuming that Sharia means a total breakdown of law and order. On the contrary, Sharia instead means that all non-Islamists become cattle, animals to be subjugated and killed off by the Islamists at will. That is completely different from a total breakdown of law and order; it is instead a theocracy designed to favor only the select Islamists. undecided

5. Obasanjo did not make Nigeria an Islamic State, nor did IBB. Also, Nigeria is still not an Islamic state; it is tending towards complete Islamization as we speak. If the country had already been Islamized as you claim, then the terrorist horde in the country wouldn't be announcing their intent to wipe out all Christians, would they? Again, it is always best to get your facts straight so you are not flailing all over the place with your points, and that is the essence of knowledge. undecided

6. Common sense is that you prioritize your interests in everything you do. Only stewpid people pretend that the white man ought to destroy his own interest for the sake of Africans. undecided

Without acknowledging the truth of his past, how can Nigeria be expected to do anything common-sensical for itself? I just explained that the white man pushed back the plague that has come back to destroy Nigeria. Rather than acknowledge and maybe learn from what the white man did to push back the plague, you respond that the Nigerian, who failed before the white man showed up, should suddenly be expected to protect his country and interest, the same Nigeria that mostly denies ownership of the country or interest. How? huh

I. Regardless of what you agree with, I don’t see you criticizing the “structural criminality” anywhere on NL. I bet it favors you. Agbado, Akara, Bole, Ewa, Kuli-Kuli and all. 🍷

2. If you have a constitutional failure, then you do not have a constitution. Nothing “albeit” about the situation. It is either you have one or you do not. Just like you can’t say Nigeria has an “albeit democracy”.🍷

3. Even more civilized nations like China have alluded to the mentality de-capacities of that religion and its components. I will not stoop that low to even discuss or acknowledge such, just as I abhor ALL OTHER RELIGIONS. Please, feel free get as much “knowledge” as you can.🍷

4. I was not referring to “Sharia”. I meant a total breakdown of law and order in the Nigerian society for example, that fosters ethnic and religious bigotry to perpetuate organized crime. Is Nigeria the only country with this “Sharia”? If any religion is above the constitution that is supposed to PROTECT ALL EQUALLY regardless of status, you have ANARCHY.🍷

5. Hehehe. Really? Nigeria is “tending” towards full Islamization and we have to wait for an announcement like the ominous-sounding 3-horn blares like some GOT movie to announce that NIGERIAN CHRISTIANS are to be killed? Is it only CHRISTIANS that are in Nigeria? What we have now is not far worse? These your Fulani terrorists all over Nigerian-bushes are not Islamizing Nigeria? Is it not part of the overall plan? I am not surprised at your choice of “level of knowledge-acquisition”. Ride on.👍🏽

6. Off point. African’s socio-economic salvation lies with their hands only. This thread celebrates AES for that reason. This Sharia intolerance business will never thrive in places like AES, yet they are Islamic countries too. All the renegades across the Sahel have been flushed into Nigeria to annihilate CHRISTIANS AND MUSLIMS alike. What kind of “Sharia” is that? Not interested in such drivel.🍷.

By the way, the “white man” was also in Singapore and China. Don’t make it look like the “Black Race” is inferior and can’t regulate itself. What truth are you really blind to see?

1 What "Structural" criminality? A thing can only be criminal if and only if it is proven to violate the law of the land, right? undecided

2. A Constitutional failure doesn't mean the same as a lack of a constitution. A constitution is a contract, an agreement. That the contract is a terrible one does not invalidate the existence of the contract.

All nations, regardless of whether they are a theocracy, Sharia, a dictatorship, a communist/socialist dystopia, etc, all have a constitution; every nation is formed and maintained by some sort of constitutional agreement. Saying that Nigeria does not have a democracy is not insinuating that Nigeria has no constitution. undecided

3. I wouldn't use China as an example against all religion since the Chinese government runs its own religion, which has killed more people per capita than Nigeria has to date. There exists not a single irreligious nation on this planet. Every Nation has, as part of the underpinning to its moral and hence criminal code, some sort of religion as its backing; communist/socialist nations like China are not an exception. undecided
China does not officially consider all religions to be a mental illness. While the ruling Chinese Communist Party is officially atheist, the government formally recognizes five religions: Buddhism, Taoism, Islam, Protestantism, and Catholicism. However, to operate legally, these institutions must register with the state and align their teachings with socialist values.
Instead of applying this classification to all faiths, the Chinese government has explicitly targeted Islam in its northwestern Xinjiang region. Officials and state media have framed the adherence to traditional Islamic practices—such as praying, fasting, and growing a beard—as signs of "extremism" that act as a "disease" or "mental illness" requiring medical or ideological "cure" inside internment camps
. China explicitly considers Islam as a mental illness, and for specific reasons. undecided

4. And I am saying that there is no total breakdown of law and order in Nigeria. There is no indication of that even to this day. However, what we see every day is the implementation of a two-tier policing system of sorts, which is to be expected when you have a Constitution such as we have in Nigeria. It not only fosters corruption and bigotry but also leaves the lives of the minorities at great risk. Again, this is by design as opposed to the notion you have of it being a result of failures. undecided

Also, Sharia is not above the Constitution; it is clearly depicted as part and parcel of the Constitution. Note the difference, please.

5. I would have suggested you read up on Islam, but I would probably be wasting my time then. What is happening in Nigeria is nothing new. It is the same playbook that was used by Islam in places like Indonesia, the Maldives, Malaysia, Afghanistan, Armenia, etc. They are targeting Christians(the people of the book) alone mainly becuase their are no Jews(the other people of the book) in Nigeria; in Islam, traditionalists and pagans, atheists, etc., are not worth mentioning. Again, this has been the same Islamic playbook used for centuries. And will likely not. undecided

6. Skirting the question again? Again, it is common sense that every nation out there prioritizes its interests above all others. undecided

7. By AES, you mean the Alliance of Sahel States? The same ones stuck battling Islamic terrorism to this day? undecided

8. Not once have I hinted at the African race being inferior... that delusion is entirely your creation here. I simply pointed out how the British did some things right and how we could do better if we copied what they did to keep the enemy at bay. That is the same strategy that Singapore and China have to this day. Ask yourself why you are convinced it becomes something of an inferiority situation when it comes to Nigeria and Nigerians doing the same? And who has mostly benefited over the decades from that mindset? undecided

1.WHAAAAAT? ? ? There lies your major problem. Do you have “laws” in Nigeria? I was waiting for you to land. Like the certificate-forger “prezdent” cannot be made to produce his Secondary School Diploma. . . Since 1999. A simple document to validate his identity. No crime proven. Thank you.🍷

2. This is what I expect a member of the boards of crooked, Nigerian judiciary system to say. If any part of a contract is violated, it becomes null and void. Break your lease for example and claim you still have one. Apparently, you do not understand the lay meaning of a “contract”. I can’t help you there.🍷

3. China perfectly understands the dangers of religion and runs a secular state. They kill for corruption, not religion. There have working judiciary and security forces in China and do not have to rely on fake religious witch-hunters as security agents.
I agree with China. Not just Islam. ALL RELIGIONS have a mental-challenge component amongst others.🍷

4. I am not surprised you do not see the dire situation in Nigeria as I do because you are either in denial or you are an integral part of the structure of criminality championed in Nigeria and all over the world. You are here being clever by a quarter measure. The so-called Sharia has REPLACED the lack of a working constitution. By design indeed! I wonder who designed it? 🙄The reason Nigeria is a SHYTE-HOLE! Anyone can see how you dance around subjects because it is obvious you are a beneficiary. Once again, I am not in that your “we” category.🍷

5. Read up on islam? Don’t even dreaaaaaam of suggesting such. Not interested in killing my viable brain cells. Other religions are not worth sacrificing but Christians? Not my business. Left to me, both should cancel out themselves. I am only interested in dismantling “the structure of criminality”. Not interested in any religion.🍷

6. Did I disagree with you? My question is when will African nations put their own interests first? Did you miss it?🍷

7. You are envious AES is making some progress ar least? I can understand your frustration. You expect every black mind to remain in stagnation and controlled remotely by socio-economic puppeteers or so-called religious fraudsters.

Who is sponsoring the terrorists? Their OWN BROTHERS in ECOWAS AND A.U. The proxy sponsors by Western nations who are losing their colonial slaves. Has your Nigeria attempted to unshackle itself with that your illiterate, drug-baron of a mandate-thieving “prezdent” running in and out of France to do what exactly?🍷

8. Do not quote me out of context. I only inferred that by the actions if the AES, Africans are more than capable of regulating themselves and pick who they choose to associate with without interference from external forces. For the records BRITAIN did its part. I am not interested. I am only interested in what Africans can do for themselves without EXTERNAL INTERFERENCE! Period.🍷

1.WHAAAAAT? ? ? There lies your major problem. Do you have “laws” in Nigeria? I was waiting for you to land. Like the certificate-forger “prezdent” cannot be made to produce his Secondary School Diploma. . . Since 1999. A simple document to validate his identity. No crime proven. Thank you.🍷
2. This is what I expect a member on the crooked, Nigerian judiciary system to say.
There are working judiciary and security forces in China and do not have to rely on fake religious witch-hunters as security agents.
See below!
The Nigerian Constitution does not explicitly mandate presidential candidates to physically attach and submit educational certificates or birth documents directly to validate their identity. Instead, it only requires candidates to meet minimum qualifications (such as being a citizen by birth and reaching a specific age) and be sponsored by a registered political party.
Seriously, when do we stop leading ourselves in circles as a nation? angry

2. Wrong! It only becomes null and void if and only if the contract explicitly specifies that violating any part of the contract renders the agreement in total null and void. Again, let's note the difference between our assumptions and reality.

If a married person were to commit adultery, is the marriage contract signed automagically rendered null and void at that point? The same goes for a constitution. The people have to, through a referendum, declare they are completely done with the contract for that to take place. undecided

3. You keep insisting, even in the face of clear evidence that China is not against every religion but a particular religion that China set itself against all religions. Why?

Also...
Between 15 and 55 million people died during the Great Leap Forward (1958–1962). The vast majority of these deaths were due to the catastrophic, man-made Great Chinese Famine. Most modern historians and demographers, such as in studies documented by the National Center for Biotechnology Information, generally converge on an estimate of about 30 to 45 million excess deaths...

Between 2 million and 4 million people died as a direct result of political violence, purges, and the suppression of the 1989 democracy movement in China after Mao Zedong died in 1976.
... are you certain of the reasons behind the deaths in China? Or are you simply pushing fantasies as usual? undecided

4. Oh well! undecided

Speak for yourself only. If you are confused, I am not. We are clearly on opposite sides of any coin and can never form a plurality on any subject.🍷

You are a joker. No wonder Nigeria is an à la carte tray where anyone can pick and choose at will to favor specific interests while others are marginalized. You cannot violate a particular of a contract and expect some form of validation.

To use your example. Everyone has the right to leave any union. You expect a married couple to wait for some court to dissolve a dysfunctional marriage? You ever heard of separation instead of divorce? Regardless of the finality from the court, the marriage contract is violated and OVA! Not everyone has time waste finances on dead contracts.🍷

I repeat: I don’t care about religion. I believe in a secular state. Your hang over, not mine. I don’t care which religion China chooses to accept or discard. Not my headache.
Also not interested in who China chooses to eliminate to ensure a sane society for all. China has a working system. Fine with me.🍷

I repeat: PRESENTLY, China will deal with anyone that threatens the stability of the country. No need dragging up the past that shows “evolutionary trends”.

Nigeria went through the same and 3million Igbos died under similar circumstances. America went through the same to mention just a few.

It looks like Nigeria is RETROGRESSIVE and needs another wave of bloodshed for a second-coming of nothingness.

We are watching.🍷

No wonder you have a drug baron from Guinea with no verified citizenship of birth in Aso Rock! And Buhari submitted a utility bill.

Glad you finally landed.🍷
