I bought the Starlink Gen 2 sometime last year, and a couple of weeks back I noticed some abrupt disconnections. I ran a system check with their AI and was notified that my Starlink was defective. I was given a replacement (Gen 3), which I have now installed. I contacted customer service to ask what I should do with the old unit. They told me it has been deactivated and should be properly disposed of. Of course, I know the entire kit can’t be completely useless. I’m curious — has anyone else been in this situation, and what did you do with yours? I was advised to sell the parts like the router, cables, and charger.

AdetayoS:Have you had a full kit replacement in the past from Starlink? Because I know Starlink typically replaces faulty kits, unless it has been replaced for free before. When my Gen2 was having performance issues, I reported to their support and was immediately sent a full Gen3 kit as a replacement. |

dustmalik:Correct.. Same with me Faulty Gen 2 Free replacement with Gen3 (Full kit) |

Have you gotten a replacement kit before? There has to be reason(s) why starlink won't provide a replacement kit for you AdetayoS: |

I need the opinion of everyone: I've been a Starlink subscriber for 2 years with no interruptions. However, I had banking issues last month and couldn't pay my June 8th invoice on time. My account is now suspended with an outstanding balance. I'm ready to pay it off, but I want to know: will paying the overdue balance cover just June, or will the system also charge me for July immediately upon reactivation? In other words, am I looking at one month or two months' worth of payments to get back online? Any insights from those who've reactivated after a missed payment would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! |

Hi. I need help, please. I want to buy Starlink. Should I buy it from their website or should I check the market? How many days does it take for them to ship it to my place? Thank you. |

It's very advisable to buy from starlink. They deliver in less than a week. You can use my referral link below. We both get a month free https://starlink.com/residential?referral=RC-DF-8980516-70308-53&app_source=share Solacemk: |

johnnyholtby:Starlink tends to do very well in rural area than urban area due to latency and congestion.

| Re: My SpaceX Starlink Internet Experience In Lagos, Nigeria by johnnyholtby(m): 10:12am On Jul 07 |
This isn't about being in rural or urban area. It's about the frequent packet losses that occurred for the past 2 nights Suicideboy: |
