The day an opposition party takes over government in Lagos from APC is when we will know the level of economic banditary and lootocracy happening in Lagos state as far as the funds of the state are concerned.

The Lagos state government has refused to domesticate the Freedom of Information act since 2011 when it was signed into law.

As an upright citizen resident in Lagos who pays his tax, obeys the lay and wants to have an idea about how the state funds (IGR, FAAC and other sources of state funds) are spent, if you write to the state government to request for access to records, budgets, and operational details of public institutions, you will be met with a brick wall. They will literally tell you that you don't have a legal right to do so! 😲

Despite Court judgements pronouncing that FOI act applies to Lagos state whether the act is domesticated by the state assembly or not, Lagos state government and it's agencies have continued to reject FOI requests.

Even if u Wan hold leaders accountable in this country, leaders fit just lockup and refuse to answer you. 😂

Tinubu speaks like someone who means well for this country.

Some of his reforms has the hallmark of someone that wants to see a changed country (wether for good or bad is another discussion).

Peter Obi was governor for 8yrs and failed woefully. So if h failed in a small Anambra, imagine how much he would fail in a big Nigeria

I think that particular incident led to him have competitors straight . Now there are quite a number of them in Ikoyi and that link bridge. I won't be surprised if those NURTW agbero guys start collecting remittance from them on order to allow them continue their "business" without disruption.
