Looking at her face, does she look like someone that have seen such amount in year. She would have employed someone if she's truly earning that much. |

Most of the respondents are ignorant. There is no lie in what she is saying. Mathematically it is possible and beyond. She may even be reducing her actual take home. People said that she looks wretched though making 2.5million . This is is why most people cannot build wealth as they go about buying Land Rovers, Range Rovers , Mercedes Benz( showmanship ) and they don't have any savings or investment . Take for instance I invested $1000 in Costco shares( stocks) in 2015( it is now worth 1.5M) and my Apple stock $2000( 2005 ) is now worth 3.5M. I could have spent the money buying rubbish. Please Invest and save. |

Years ago I am talking like 35 plus years ago an orange seller said how much she was making from selling oranges which they buy from their villages and sell mainly wholesale in the market and it was unbelievable so don’t knock it until you research and try it. Also I have witnessed a woman build house from the profit of selling yam, oil, garri, elubo etc that she and two other women jointly go to buy in ondo Akure. I respect those women. A lot of people just waist their life sitting around and complaining that there is no job not knowing that they just need to open their eyes and the opportunity is around them. Oga de carry 4 runner all over the place begging wife and friends to buy petrol for them while they are too big to do the bolt that the friends they are begging money from is doing. It’s about making money especially when you have children to feed. Don’t knock an honest day’s work. Most people when they travel abroad, the initial job na factory, cleaning, shop assistant, food restaurant, care and the like if one is lucky until you make progress if you make progress. Prestar: |

To make that amount in profit she'll have to sell 5,000 corns @700 naira with a generous overhead+ direct cost@200 naira. That's impossible |

This woman wants to put corn sellers in trouble. Honestly ot is possible to make as much as that amount if she is in a busy location, corn is quite expensive these days. She could be making atleast 50k if she sells from morning till night. |

I just smiled when people were insulting Remi. You see, you all dont know how the Nigerian market system has been framed. Retailers are kings. Thats just it. And you dont still get it. Remi Tinubu is talking from what he has seen Tinubu pumped out of tax collection. Those Agbero in parks and markets, the road sellers, market women and men, etc. If they arent making money why would Lagos State create so many agencies to milk them, yet they keep multiplying. So, dey there. When I import supplements and I see what these sellers list on Jumia, konga, and jiji, I always call them thieves. Ha ba! When you know the amount main distributor and retailers make on food compared to what faemers make, you will shout. Gues what I told my network to downsize and we transform to B-C - direct sales to consumers. What you gain from farming 1,000 ha...just do 5 ha and you will make times 2, but sell directly to consumers. This framework is not sustainable, its what Nigerians have embraced. And it didnt start today. It was first noticed in the 70s when retailers just created artificial high prices of meat and fish. Gen Obasanjo ordered ship of fish from Norway and crashed the prices. Still those retailers made good profit. But why did they increased their profit exponentially before? Thats just the Nigerian thing that want to make too much from anything. And its why they form associations for their dirty fights. This same issue affects oil and forex. Bola Tinubu understood this, and he pitched his tent there. Well, solution is on the way. We will soon see. Lol. Goodlyck to you all. |

Gbadugbakun:Motivational speaker thank you very much. So the cost of production is not factored into your calculation right? She gets the corn, Ube and coconut for free from the farm right? What about the charcoal used for production? What about the cost of transportation? So all of them for free? Each finished product does not carry a fixed price of N500, do you know? Look at your warped calculation. A bag of corn costs 45,000 and it contains 50 - 60 ears. She sells at 500 each and arrives at 30,000. The difference negatively is 15,000. Is that not a loss already from your calculation? If she sell three bags a day, is that not a further loss of 45,000? Na so APC go dey confuse una. The same Tinubu’s wife called youths lazy and you all accepted it. Except that woman has other branches and aggregates all the income from those sources, she deceived you all. For your information, I am very certain that a bag of corn does not cost 45,000. You can go to Ketu, Abule egba or visit any farmer to check how much a bag is sold. A bag typically bag can have up to 100 pieces depending on the sizes. Is she sells 100 pieces at 500, that’s 50k. You remove her costs, i.e, purchase price, transport, charcoal and decide her profit for the day, which typically does not exceed 8 - 10, depending on the location. If she is able to manage with the fire from her charcoal to sell, she can make more. By the way, sales also fluctuate. Somedays sales can be tasking and you find the corn seller praying hard and almost begging customers. Make una dey follow Tinubu wife play. Tinubu himself promised agbado and that is what the wife emphasized. By the way, when corn is out of season, what will you do? Face akara right? The woman’s idea is not bad in all, but most people feel insulted seeing how they live luxurious lives and telling them to do businesses that they see as demeaning, which should not be. |

While I'm happy for her, however, I must add that she is not wise in coming on camera to disclose this. This " socio media " ehn... What it will cause to people in this generation...🤦 You don't like how you've been quietly profiting from your trade and going home with peace, innit? You know, or, have you forgotten how dangerous and volatile the country is at the moment? 🤦 It seems to me that this lady is setting herself up for a courtesy call/visit from kidnappers. Maybe even bandit-level kidnappers. Even her fellow market colleagues may now envy her. In all thy getting, get wisdom. Money isn't everything. It won't guarantee you safety in many situations that wisdom would. 🙂 |
